Some commentary from Stephen Loszewski about his recruitment and recent visit
Anyway, props to MnB for bringing us some of Stephen's reactions to this awesome story, now that he's had time to digest it all. I especially like how Stephen describes how Coach Hoke treated him during the visit. Brady Hoke: a hell of a good man who really knows how to treat people.

As far as what the future holds for Loszewski and Michigan, he says that he is expecting a phone call from Athletic Director Dave Brandon soon and perhaps an honoring during a game could be a possibility for this upcoming season.
It would be great if they could do it during the Penn State game.
I'm not sure if he's part of this community but if not I hope he finds the site. I'd like him to know how much support he has here also. Not that it's my place to offer, but it would be nice to get him at least a digital copy of the HTTV.
"One of the cool things about the trip is that they didn't treat me like the 'Make-A-Wish Kid' they were serious about it," said Loszewski. "A lot of the conversation with Mr. Hoke was serious, like the responsibilities of the position I will be playing, which would've been rush-end. A lot of itt was what he would actually say to a recruit. He talked to me as someone who would be playing in August."
I was actually wondering about details like this, and knowing that they stuck to how the actual process would potentially go and make the experience as genuine as possible makes me even more proud of this staff and team. I did like his description of the locker room - I actually didn't know about the Michigan State sign, but I like the motivation tactic.
I still have the image of his dad watching Stephen put on the winged helmet and it still awesome.
As much as people around here debate whether Hoke should be head coach, we can all agree how much of an awesome human being he is!
This is a great story and I'm proud of our team for the way they handled this and took it seriously. We all love football, but it is also important to keep life in perspective as well.
And, on a less serious note, I really hope the NCAA or FREEP doesn't start investigating us for recruiting violations related to Loszewski's recruitment... having Jake Long go to his house, signature from Desmond, etc.
Rosenberg is on it as we speak.
I work at a children's hospital in St Petersburg Fl and I wear a Michigan lanyard and have Michigan stickers on my truck. Everyday I go out and represent the best of my family and the University. Both have not only taught me the skills to excel as a professional, but also as a person.
Every patient and family get my best (even on mornings after "x night drinking thread" posting), it's the Michigan way!
