Every team does play on Thursday 5/28.  Four games in 2 sessions--noon/2:30 and 7/9:30 Eastern Time (subtract 1 hour for OKC time).

The Thursday winners play on Friday 5/29.  One session at 7/9:30 EDT.

Saturday is elimination day--the 6 teams with 1 loss play, with the 2 undefeated teams getting a rest day (same game times as Thursday).

Sunday is for the 4 remaining teams to play themslves down to two--1/3:30 EDT, with the "if necessary" games starting at 7:00.

The final 2 teams play a best-of-three on Monday-Tuesday-Wednesday June 1-2-3, games at 8:00 EDT each day.

It hasn't officially been determined, but I think Michigan's game Thursday will almost certainly be the 7:00 EDT game:  Michigan-Oklahoma or Michigan-Alabama would be the feature game of the first round, getting the "prime time" treatment.  If that's the case, Michigan's second game would be 9:30 EDT on Friday (if they win) or 2:30 EDT on Saturday (if they lose).

The replays are being posted within an hour of the end of the game on espn3.  I have Charter, but no cable tv and I've been able to watch them without any problem.

Big Title IX violation by Mgoblog -- by not having a feature story on M Softball tonight.

I think I will cancel my subscription.  Perhaps I will carry a mattress to symbolize this brutal gender aggression!

So glad I was able to make it home for the playoffs this year!  Great game, gutty performance from so many different players.  The explosion of joy from Wagner when she hit that HR was just beautiful!  It's been a treat to make my little contribution to the coverage of this team & to join the rest of you guys in backing them on the board here.  Glad we're not done doing so just yet!

but this is especially refreshing this season as all 3 of the major sports have fallen flat. It feels like a breath of fresh air to see a Michigan team be elite on national tv
