Softball vs FSU Game 3 Open Thread

After that dissappointing loss let's have a separate thread to differentiate this hopefully much better game from that poor showing.  Game starts at 7:00 p.m on ESPN.  GO BLUE!

It's starts with the Hasselbach at bat. She needs to just hit it as hard as she can and not necessarily look for a hit. Watching 3 straight pitches go by isn't good.

Heartbreaking loss, but you can't leave bases loaded 3 times and not capitalize.  Haylie pitched just as well as Waldrop, but we didn't help her out with any runs.  The flu that hit the team earlier this week, hit Haylie on Thursday night, and she was pitching game 3 with the flu, throwing up all game and with a fever.  She did a hell of a job out there, with the flu, the heat and humidity.  Lots of traveling this past week for them but next year it will all be at Michigans field.  I am so very proud of this team.

Well.  Disappointing to lose with so many mistakes.

As always, great season from the ladies and Coach Hutch almost pulling off the upset.

This is what happens when you load the bases three times in 7 innings and come away with exactly one run.

It sucks. I don't like it, But that doesn't make it any less true. :(

Congrats to FSU. I'm sorry the season ended earlier than we all would have liked but it's been fun to watch them this past week. Great season team and be proud of yourselves.

Never said I was embarassed. The way they lost was embarassing. Any athlete losing that way would agree. FSU deserved it because they didn't crack under the pressure. UM has a great team and much to be proud of. They fought hard to get to this point. It's just disappointing how they lost. I feel bad for them...

Seen this coming a mile away. Didn't cash in on countless opportunities and FSU just had lady luck in their corner. It's like we were hitting the ball right into their gloves.
