The college game of softball is really hurt by the way the rule is and how it is enforced,

A ball that is only partially over the plate is a strike.  Thus, the batter should be required to be at least a ball's width away from the plate. 

Any part of the batter's body that is within a ball's width of the plate, and the batter gets hit (regardless where), and that batter should be called out.

That would cut back on a lot of that shit.

I did a little more research on Florida. It looks like we will be facing their freshman in Barnhill in her debut. She was the #1 pitcher out of high school last year and is supposed to be very good. This is the 3rd year in a row Florida unveils their star freshman recruit versus Michigan. Gourley, Ocasio, Barnhill
