For some reason this popped into my head last night. Will someone "pull a kiffin" or "dude, don't kiffin me and bail on this" or "you are such a kiffin". The situation has blown up so much, I assume something will stick.
In Knoxville, with the headache he incurred for 7 wins, I am sure kiffin is used to describe to pretty bad things.
