That's exactly what happened. People kept asking my wife were I was because I was in the hall with all my groomsman and she was in dancing with her bridesmaids.

did you lead or did he? Or did you do the Wedding Singer butt grab thing to each other?

...if you had Craig Roh throw socks at you. The thinks you miss in life!
September 22nd, 2010 at 2:14 PM ^
I think it's the haircut.
September 22nd, 2010 at 3:22 PM ^
Because I think that top picture can help to settle the up-thread disagreement over whether Denard is +/- 5'10"...
September 22nd, 2010 at 3:26 PM ^
I'm about 5 10/5 11
September 22nd, 2010 at 5:01 PM ^
Which hotel is that? It looks like the hotel I just got married at. I'll be pissed if I missed them.
September 22nd, 2010 at 8:18 PM ^
The Four Points right across from Briarwood Mall.
September 23rd, 2010 at 10:55 AM ^
That's the other one I thought it might be.
September 23rd, 2010 at 10:26 AM ^
That, my friend, may be the perfect wedding.
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:03 PM ^
I was eating with some friends late last night at Denny's in ann arbor and Denard walked in with his girlfriend. No one really paid much attention to him and I don't think many people knew who he was besides our table. He was very friendly though. We just said keep up the good work and he smiled and said thanks and that was that.
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:07 PM ^
Denny's?
September 22nd, 2010 at 5:53 PM ^
Good to know Denny's is serving black people these days
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:05 PM ^
Creepy much?

Hey Blue Blue Blue, are you related to blueblueblue?
September 22nd, 2010 at 1:31 PM ^
...this post would cause b3 to disown B3.
September 22nd, 2010 at 1:50 PM ^
My thoughts exactly. Lower case bbb would not tolerate a post of this nature.
September 22nd, 2010 at 6:45 PM ^
For your information I am vowing to cut down on the bitching about threads, thanks much to the prodding of level-headed guys around there like 'Shoe. Now, every time I want to complain about a thread I give myself a little "corporal mortification" - something like...
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:08 PM ^
Seeing that I'm his age and I go to school there probably not creepy. If a thirty year old man did it, probably creepy.
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:12 PM ^
I saw him at the art fair with a person I assume to be his GF. Nobody was bothering him but then again it was before the season started.
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:12 PM ^
People never make a fuss over him, he's usually with one or two people. I heard him humming a tune one of the times, which was kinda cool.
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:27 PM ^
What kind of stories is the OP expecting? We see him on campus. He walks around. Sometimes he has a backpack, sometimes not. The excitement ends there. People don't make a fuss because for the most part we're a respectful bunch.
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:31 PM ^
walk around wearing socks and sandals. That is all.
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:51 PM ^
Those adidas slides, you mean?
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:55 PM ^
I couldn't think of what they were called.
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:32 PM ^
I saw him at meijer with a certain lady friend. I just gave him a head nod, didn't want to bother him.
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:35 PM ^
I'll be that guy - there are many of us wondering. Those of you that have seen him with what you believe to be his girlfiend...
... is she smokin' hot or what?
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:40 PM ^
Natl. Heisman Hype, and not a single "I dry-humped Denard's leg at Meijers" story.
I'm so proud of us.
September 22nd, 2010 at 2:25 PM ^
If there's a Michigan Football Players board, they're probably trading stories about how these middle-aged ladies in Meijer stare in this creepy fashion but thank god don't dry hump their legs.
Because, guilty as charged. I never say anything, but I am sure my dorky smile of delighted recognition is unmistakable.
Meijer is always a good time. I love going in on Thursday nights when the fraternity brothers are stocking up for the weekend. I can feel my liver twinging in memory of my younger days.
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:46 PM ^
I see him MWF in Angell Hall. He's always talking to a friend or going up to class, nothing too exciting. I always am happy to see him though, as I actually don't see many football players around campus throughout my day, but some of the freshmen live in my residence hall.
It was actually pretty weird, for the Notre Dame game, I saw some of the players who are redshirting/don't travel just walking around South Quad about an hour before kickoff. Wouldn't you think that they watched the game in an athletic building or something? (but I really don't know)
September 22nd, 2010 at 12:56 PM ^
I always thought seeing famous people in person was cool. I think I always well. People love to talk about it which makes it a great conversation piece too

for the new avatar

Still kinda creepy but not nearly as creepy as the old one

The old one screamed pedophile. The new one screams pedophile.

the NEW avatar was Stonum in his awesome specs. This is a new, NEW one. I am withdrawing my +1.
September 22nd, 2010 at 1:23 PM ^
I saw him on the Commuter North / Commuter South buses a few times last year (I was in CE but lived on central, so I took them daily back and forth). He was always wearing that blue Adidas pullover thing that all the athletes have, and always sat in the back, where there's two benches facing each other. I never saw anyone gush over him, but he wasn't HE16MAN then either.
September 22nd, 2010 at 1:28 PM ^
I saw him on campus today. His dreads look a little out of sorts. He must be having a bad hair day. Judging by his scent, I believe he used Axe Body Wash this morning. I followed him to Subway and he ate a meatball sandwich on wheat bread with Provolone cheese. He paid for it with a $20 and he had to accept 15 $1 bills as change because they were out of 5s and 10s. He seemed a little bit annoyed by this, which is kind of unusual, since this kind of thing usually doens't bother him. Then he met up with a friend and they talked bout playing Call of Duty on XBox 360 later this week. His XBox username is Dilithium_man. I'll probably look for him online Sunday.
September 22nd, 2010 at 1:35 PM ^
...story. If he wore Axe Body Wash, then he'd be mobbed everywhere he went. That's how that stuff works according to what I've seen on my television set.
September 23rd, 2010 at 11:41 AM ^
and thanks for posting.

Braylon Edwards grabbed me a la Lewan grabbing Denard when I was a freshman and threw me on a pile of snow in front of both the South and West Quad co-eds during the yearly Snow War. As he did it he yelled "Yeah Baby, Yeah Nigg**!". Inmediately after that he gets nailed on the mouth by a snowmball thrown from a girl living in South Quad. Next thing I knkw he and 5 dudes chase the girl into South Quad... never to be seen again. That goes to show that not all Michigan Stars are as humble as Denard.
September 22nd, 2010 at 1:42 PM ^
I was there and I still tell the "I watched Braylon Edwards bodyslam a dude" story. That was actually you? Are you just putting yourself into the story?
Anyway, it happened, and it was awesome.
September 22nd, 2010 at 3:24 PM ^
I still tell stories of Tai Streets in our S. Quad-W. Quad snowball fights. He stood in the back, out of the fray, and launched snow-boulders at the W. Quad people that thought standing in the back meant they were out of the fray.

When I was a freshman, I once held a door open for that chick who was on the real world... she said thanks...
can I get a "Cool Story Brah"?
September 22nd, 2010 at 2:08 PM ^
From the looks of it you two could have had something special. I don't know how you blew it, but you did. ;)
Do you know her name or what one she was from?.....not that I watch that show or anything.......

I was behind Je'Ron Stokes at Gamestop the other night.
I was waiting in line to buy Street Fighter 4, but he got a PS3 and Madden '11.
Woulda invited him over for some good ol' street fighter action but I didn't think he would have wanted to play :(
September 22nd, 2010 at 7:40 PM ^
Back around when the Wii came out, in like Jan. 2006, I was in line at a Target at like 7am on a Sunday morning to get one and I was behind Chad Henne. Even at 7am...he was magestic.
Also, I went bowling on my birthday in 2008, and in the lane next to me was Mike Hart, Steve Breaston, Adrian Arrington, and Larry Foote. So sweet. Those black dudes sure could bowl, I tell ya.
September 22nd, 2010 at 3:40 PM ^
I was an RA in West Quad last year. I would see him around all the time. He was the coolest, down to earth guy, and super respectful. A little different from another resident on my floor I had a year earlier by the name of Tate (who I think has matured a little bit since then hopefully)
It;s just cool to see former residents of mine playing on TV, like Vince Smith, Terrence Robinson and JT Floyd. Even James Rogers was my next door neighbor my sophmore year. Kinda surreal.
September 22nd, 2010 at 3:45 PM ^
I walked by Denard today and noticed that I was taller. While his life is way better than mine, I can relish the fact that I get access to more amusement park rides than he does.
September 22nd, 2010 at 3:56 PM ^
I once had Mike Hart sit down next to me in class while I was reading MGoBlog on my laptop. His picture happened to be on the screen. I turned to see who sat next to me, saw it was Mike, and gave him a nod as I hit Apple-W on my keyboard. It was MGoAwkward.
Moral of the story? These are real kids. Let 'em go to class without making a big deal out it. I hope that's what's happening on campus right now.
