We'll be wearing Crisler today. It's a fashion forward, yet retro, dome shaped accessory with a trendy maize color that evokes the changing colors of leaves in Autumn. And also Blue.

I live in Gator county -  which is its own kind of hell. I am sporting my blue-T with maize MICHIGAN - getting booos at the gas station and fingers at the grocery store. Scoreboard.

"I just LOVE the way the stripes on his jersey accentuate his bulging football man muscles. The pants are just a touch too revealing - I mean, is that a moose in his pants, or what? Oh, who am I kidding, I LOVE IT! Get over here, you big bear you!!!"

I don't like that segment, but why are people so offended by it? WD posts about hangers on this board. What's wrong with SportsCenter spending 5 minutes talking about unique sports uniforms that sports teams will be wearing while playing sports?

There's so much outrage.

But I suppose they could spend that time talking about the SEC, NFL players kneeling or whatever the "hot" 24 hour news cycle topic is at the time (i.e. Cam Newton's apology).

Do your job, SportsCenter.

Do I particularly give a crap what some random school that is not Michigan is wearing to play football? Nope, not one bit. But, it's just a 5-minute segment that, believe t or not, probably appeals to some viewers. Definitely not the MGoBlog crowd, obviously, but I can see some more casual viewers being as interested in that as they are in some random story about a random team or player that they don't follow. Again, not my taste, but college gameday's intended audience is not just diehard college football fans. People just love to find something to either complain about or poke fun at. (Not directed at the OP, more a comment on the board, and perhaps even society, in general).

I'll admit. This post was the direct result of waking up too early on a game day (PST) with nothing to watch but SC: AM and being abjectly bored while waiting for the Gameday thread.

I'm sorry I dragged you all into my personal hell.

because it's on ESPN and it's cool to hate ESPN. They probably made that based on all the social media discussion of uniforms in the past. There have been dozens of uniform related posts on this blog, but now that it's about another school it's stupid? There would be a board post here if they said something nice about UM wearing maize pants. Sure, it's dumb, just move on. also, I'm annoyed the OP made no attempt to describe what he saw. This isn't an ESPN open thread.

Man. Late '90s early '00s Sportscenter was must watch TV. Kenny Mayne, Stuart Scott, Brian Anderson, Linda Cohn, Scott VanPelt. Now I'd rather light myself on fire and jump out a window than watch it. SAD!

I take it you also don't pay any attention to what you wear yourself—you just put on what your mom or wife buys you, no questions asked.
