So it is going to be wet and cold tomorrow- and that means what for us?

Submitted by iawolve on

Considering we are supposed to be passing to win tomorrow, I think this sucks. I only hope it can stay dry enough to not affect our game plan. Guess it can't be any worse than when we played there in a monsoon, but I don't think we need anything tilting against us at this point.

Forecast has shifted a lot today. Either way it does not look like it will be much more than showers. The bigger factor in my opinion is what the wind will be like. It didn't look like it would be a factor in earlier forecasts but now looking like winds between 10-20 mph.

Passing to win? If your counting screens than ok. A fast quarterback, decent O-line and short routes are all good for beating a good front 4/7. The fact that its wet means what it always means, Denard won't be accurate and defensive players are disadvantaged a little on both sides. Honestly, I bet we win.

I can't remember what happened the last time we played a game at ND in a downpour:

Oh, that's right. Fandom Endurance III achievement unlocked, with the "watched the entire game from the ND student section in Michigan gear" bonus.

Stonum is wearing a home jersey there. The only year that we played Purdue at home with Stonum on the team was 2009, and in 2009, the weather for the UM/Purdue game was warm, sunny and gorgeous. Never a single drop of rain. So, no, it's not from 2009 Purdue, as we were also 5-5 after that loss with 2 more chances to make a bowl game.
It is the 2008 Northwestern game.

Michigan doesn't even have a real QB.

How many times did ND turn the ball over last year deep in your territory?  And you still needed a 4th and goal miracle fumble to Denard? And a miracle last drive?  At your place?

You guys played one team you didn't belong on the field with and two cupcakes and are going to try and jump up to ND's level right away when ND has been playing real teams the last 3 weeks?  ND is much better this year than last year.

You have no chance.

There's no point Notre Dame arrogance never dies. Despite not doing anything for the last 20 years they still believe that they are the most important team in college football. Michigan could win by 40 tomorrow and by god they'll have some excuse. Denard has destroyed them offensively for the last 2 years and they cannot accept that.

Actually, Denard Robinson does each of the following things:  1.  Exists and 2. Typically plays the quarterback position on Michigan's football team.  So, I believe that meets the minimum requirements of being a "real QB."

Secondly... U MAD BRO

Those turnovers existed too.  So did Jeremy Gallon, even if Notre Dame's sweet secondary didn't believe it.  Here are some other images that might be of interest to you.

And my personal favorite...

but which passer would you take?

47/81 58% 7.4YPA 611YDS 3TD 1INT 131.1PR

41/75 54.7% 9.32YPA 699YDS 6TD 4INT 148.7PR

Personally, I take the one with better YPA, more yards, more touchdowns and a better passer rating, but I guess that's just me.

Sadly, none of this really matters, since trolls don't use logic. Of all the players to try and rag on, you pick the guy with 948 yards and eight touchdowns against those amazing Notre Dame defenses.

which "real QB" is kelly going with this week? how many have seen the field already this season? you cant honeslty say that denard isnt a real qb with the mess that ND has under center. your "real qb" was riding the pine for 3 1/2 qtrs last week  because he hasnt been able to lock up the job in 2 years of being there.  or are they going back to the sophomore this week?

green,

I have met a lot of ignorant notre lame fans in my day but you by far take the cake. Come back and argue when you actually have something competent to say you ass hat. Its clear you are jealous of Michigan and the fact we are actually a relevant program while your precious domers are mired in mediocrity and under achievement.

Anyone that joins an opponents board and spews fallacy such as you, brings round all of the sad 32 year old ND fans that went to community college somewhere, and troll opponents sites from their bedroom in their parents basements.

The fact that you are here just shows how thirsty you and your fanbase are for any kind of relevant win. Don't tell me you beat a crappy Michigan agricultural school last week, everyone with a brain and two eyes knows they are overrated. If Michigan wins this game awesome! If not, I'm sure all of our lives will go on. Judging my your extremism and desperation...I'm not sure the same can be said for you.

No offense to Navy, but Air Force is infinitely better than they are; Purdue might get bowl elgibile and MSU barely beat a bad, bad Boise State team that could only score 7 points on a miserable BYU squad.

We have no chance????

In what world could we possibly not have a chance against the Yakety Sax of college football.   Half of your secondary are WRs, and your QB is a red-shirt freshman.

With Denard we have more than a chance, With Denard we have a very good chance and we have weapons with which you can't match up.  Bring your best and we'll bring ours, that should be more than enough.
