I'm wondering if Blake shoul've picked up the ball and gone with it on the field gol - bad snap on a long field goal - iffy that they'll get it off anyways. On the extra point, shorter distance gives you some more room to work - you're less likely to come up short.

No worries - you make a valid point.

Just wondering what the default move is - as you suggested, little time, manages to field it, and almost saves it - probably should place it.

I think in the case of the fumbled snap a few weeks back, the general consensus was that he should have jumped on it in that situation. At another point in the game, maybe he still tries to kick it.

I guess I don't really know what the holder/punter are coached to do.

We need a perfect ST next two weeks. We needed that advantage. Without that, this team is not going to win the next two.

No missed Field Goals. We cannot give up any major yards or TD on Special Teams. We need to stop kicking to people as much as possible. Someone found a hole in our punt coverage and it needs to plugged.

Overall, I still think our ST is pretty good and it is an advantage. S*** happens in some games.
