First of all, hopefully Speight is ok. Hate seeing one of the good guys get hurt, especially on a late hit. O'Korn was impressive today, making quick decisions and accurate throws on his way to leading this team to an important win before the bye week.

I still thought the first half play selection was questionable at best. The offset draw play which is a chunk play 75% of the time finally got called.. with only 15 seconds until halftime. Incredibly frustrating to finally get an HB screen, just for Higdon to fumble it away.

Isaac should be in on obvious passing downs as Higdon got worked on a couple key pass protections.

Finally, the inside pitch to Evans for the TD was a great play call and beautifully blocked.

I'm not saying O'Korn shouldn't start even if Speight can play, but I also feel like the improvement in the offense came a lot from using the TEs. Unless we've just had TEs running wild and Speight hasn't been throwing to them and Brian hasn't noticed, then it seems like that was the big change in playcalling. They are still young so maybe it took a few games for them to come along.

I will not believe that a proven coach like Harbaugh, especially one good with QB's, could see JOK vs. Speight for two years every day and come to the wrong conclusion about the two guys. No way that's possible. That means that SP8 in practice was indeed better than JOK. And that's why he started over him.

Go fuck yourself if you think that losing as many people as this team did to the NFL wasn't going to mean an off year for the team.

Man up and take your beating.  Harbaugh on the hot seat, forsooth.

But at this point he has lost his job and needs to take a seat. OKorn was throwing dimes out there all day and the offense looks totally different with him as QB. This could be a big turning point for this team this year.

O'Korn looked really good today. We know that Speight can be very good at times based on how he played for much of last year, but maybe having a scrambler like O'Korn is what we need with the right side of the OL being what it is. I hope Speight is okay.

I'd like to hear some serious reasons why JOK shouldn't be the starter going forward, especially with a bye week to get more reps with the 1st team O.

I might go with O'Korn because Sp8 seems shaken but I think we are over reacting to a horrible Purdue D.  O'Korn is bad at feeling pressure and holds on to the ball too long.  This might work okay against Purdue but I suspect Sp8 is in to limit interceptions (though he does love untimely pick 6s).  Given the ineptness of the rest of our offnense, I am fine with O'Korn to shake things up but we should not get carried away.

O'Korns sacks are like Sp8s over throws.  I would rather have the over throws.
