Hoke exercised pure negligence and disregard for his QB by leaving him in there. He needs to go. Aside from the fact that he made Minnesota look like world beaters.

I have never seen anything like this in 50 years. Where are all the Michigan Men clamoring to defend this cluster. There isn't one phase of the game which resembles anything close to the caliber of talent on this team.
We need the Lane Kiffin treatment...pull the pin now!

I'm feeling so much apathy, I don't even want to hang out here and complain. Or read other peoples' complaints. Besides, it's so f***ing obvious what went wrong that there is absolutely nothing I can add to the conversation.

At least we had McDonough/Spielman last week instead of the clown shoe that is those two.

and its over. I dont understand how the entire staff has failed at this point. All phases of the game are just crap. A midseason separation seems likely for Hoke. Let Nuss and Mattison run the show and let the search begin. The team appears so unprepared for games, it is time to press the reset button and move on. This blog itself, and the new media age cant help the team and the players, but the tire fire of Michigan football is raging black smoke at the moment. It s been a good run for the last 45 years or so.

When Hoke addressed the team today they sat. They usually gravitate towards him and stand or kneel. Today they sat. DG kept his head down during the address, not even acknowledging him.

Was anybody else watching the game with their jaw dropped as one of the commentators (the younger guy) talked about how Hoke should at least get to return next year? This was after they talked pretty honestly about how bad Michigan was earlier in the game. I don't get it. How can anybody have that opinion?
September 27th, 2014 at 8:06 PM ^
I figure he's not a fan of Michigan, so he'd love for Hoke to stay.

Worst ever! Fuck im drunk, my drink is moving. Holy Shit the team is horrible and we have no damn QB! Fire Hoke, Thank you Jesus Christ!!
September 27th, 2014 at 7:52 PM ^
This team is so poorly coached. I remember a few years ago, when Bobby Williams got smoked by Michigan, he was asked if he had lost his team. He replied "I don't know." He was fired 2 days later. That MSU team looks more organized than this Michigan team.
The clownshow of an offense. The stubborn insistence on the inferior punt formation. Calling a timeout when the other team is running a 2 minute drill because they had 12 men on the field because why wouldn't you try to sub when the other team is going to spike the ball. His handling of the Shane Morris situation was damn near criminal. He claims he didn't see Morris hobbling around (even before he got in the head). Which makes me wonder what the hell he does on the sideline.
This team looks so clueless right now.

It's "fire Hoke you aks? Well that's the question for the fuckin' ages." Not a question anymore. I watched that disaster on DVR and pretty much all the way through on single, double and triple fast forward. And I was still in shock. We are a pathetic football team. The 3-9 squad from 2008 would run up and down the field on this team.

Most rival fans just feel bad for us at this point. Which, until today, was the worst part of this season so far. Now it's the handling of Morris.
September 27th, 2014 at 8:14 PM ^
PUT ON A FUCKING HEADSET YOU MORON!!!! The cxoaches in the booth could see it. This cvoach is clueless, lost and a total moron. What was the gameplan today?...Play Morris regardless if he plays well or terrible or gets concussed?
There were no adjustments at halftime, no changing the plan, except throw on every down to receivers who can't catch, the QB getting destroyed and the Oline unable to block anyone.
No one can blame RichRod for this. This is all on Hoke, and his staff. The Oline coach should be packing his bags tonight. Nussmeier needs a 2x4 upside the head. How does no one see Morris laying on the ground and then stumbling after that play.
It borders on the criminal. This is the worst staff this program has ever had.
September 27th, 2014 at 8:17 PM ^
now, he is a liar or being pressured to do so. Stephen Ross is bonehead for supporting Brandon andyone who comes out supporting Hoke should be told to go away.
RR's SheriThreet team could beat this team at this point. Can we just take a knee against MSU now? That will be the ugliest beating of all time.

He's keeping it in house.
September 27th, 2014 at 8:48 PM ^
jblaze, I understand what you're saying, but being PC at point is pointless. Keeping all this bullshit "in house", not divulging injuries and acting like everything is okay just proves how inept, out of touch and in way over his head that Hoke is.
I heard the pregame interview with Brandy, Hoke said twice "we're close". Close to WHAT? Getting canned? That is the only thing the entire staff and AD is getting close to.
My dad always taught me, 'tell the truth' if you do, there is always less bad that will happen. All the lies, deception and BS this staff and the AD has done since 2006 is culminating in the dumpster fire/laughing stock this program has become.
September 27th, 2014 at 9:11 PM ^
I'm clearly not him, but imagine the shit he's getting by owning the dolphins and being the largest diner to michigan.
I'm sure his colleagues are laughing their Asses off.

I do not know where to post this but here's information for you.
1. Michigan will be holding a players only meeting tomorrow, spearheaded by Jake Ryan, and Ramon Taylor.
2. Shane has a high ankle sprain, doubtful he plays next week. Can barely put pressure on it.
3. Desmond Morgan is highly upset that Jabril didn't play today.
4. Players morale has geniuely finally dipped.
5. Jabril turned his back to the coaches after the game, and looked in his locker. He's highly disgusted.
6. Doesn't feel like a team, defense keeps to defense. Offense to offense. Not much cross mingling between them after this game.
7. Nuss & Hoke argued with Dave Brandon present. Words weren't audible to any one else.
