Very loud. I was actually surprised at how loud it was. When we ran twice in a row for no gain or a loss after the muffed punt, it was ridiculously loud. I never boo our team, but I found myself booing after that shitshow.

On the boo during the second run, Derrick Green and Gardner both seemed to notice it. Especialyl Green, his head snapped up towards the student section pretty fast. I felt bad for him, but idk anymore...

Disgraceful.  All of them.  Mattison is terrible as Borges.  Nebraska had three back-up linemen, and Michigan still was nullified.  Michigan can't get important stops.

I've never been more disgusted by Borges's playcalling.  Hoke -- no way.  He's not a good head coach.

I think hoke and co have lost the offense if not the team. Came out too flat - this is only partially youth at oline issue. Corn had 3 backups and did okay. Sexy al Borges coaches scared.

I first noticed it during the PSU game. The body language of some offensive players seemed to show their disappointment in the plays that were coming in... I noticed it today, too. I don't see urgency in either this coaching staff or the players. That is one of the more disappointing aspects of this season... I want the Brady Hoke from his intro press conference who had fire and determination. Not the one who looks lost and defers to his coordinators. I want coordinators who make adjustments and look to find something that works with current personnel. Not ones who like to hear themselves talk about X’s and O’s.

Yes, fire this entire staff, including Mattison. For all his hype, his defense has been soft all season. It won't happen of course, we'll have to endure at least another season of this garbage. However, by then, perhaps even DB will admit he made a huge mistake.

Noticed how much better the pizza got after Dave Brandon left Dominos?

Fire Dave Brandon!  Fire Hoke!  Fire Borges!

For the purpose of keeping the board at least somewhat manageable, it is, but if you're talking about things and trends which may be more than a little troubling, then I do see your point. The main idea here is to mitigate (it won't work tonight, but this is the idea) the need for people to post their 200 takes on the game. Simple as that.

My wife doesn't need to see me sulking around the house, yelling at the dogs when we play turds like today. I'm mentally drained from years of this shit. I can take the losses. What I can't stomach anymore is the same problems week after week, year after year. Michigan is a joke. But this staff will continue with their stubborn mantra while the team limps to the finish line. Meanwhile, our rivals are calling our recruits and using this against us. I can't do it anymore.

Trying to put this succinctly: Beilein, Hoke, and Brandon need to get into a room and just have a friendly conversation about the trajectory of the basketball and football teams over the last few years. I know this part of my comment is unrealistic but a man can dream. Anyway, Brandon and Hoke need to sit down and realize a big reason for our basketball team's success is the evaluation of Beilein's assistants. They need to figure out of Borges and Funk are the answers for the long haul. Don't think they are but they need to look at the data and evaluate. We have a historically bad O Line and yet we do not call lots of screens and short passes. Just extremely frustrating because yes we fired an entire staff for historic inept play calling on the defense but the offense does the same thing in the same time frame and no public word. All we get is execution this and well that. Next week is not looking like it is going to be fun.

wrong approach, hoke cant coach, he cant make the correct head coaching decision.  Beliene was a good coach else were and had a good resume.  Hoke is over his head, what are his credential to coach a program like michigan.  He put us back centuries.

This team is brutal.  BRUTAL to watch.  There's no way around this.  If you can't blame the coaches, then who do you blame?  The preceding regime got three years.  This one is on its third year.  And I have to tell you, I'm not seeing anything that makes me think we're in a better way here.

I'm looking.... so desparately looking... for the silver lining.  And it ain't there.

The emperor is not wearing any clothes.  And EVERYONE in the Big House tonight knew it.  Playes, coaches, fans.

Prior to this game, I was in the "give Borges more time" camp, but now, F that!  Fire Borges! There were so many predictable and pathetic play calls.  He sucks.  He doesn't adjust to his player's strengths/weaknesses.

Guess what Borges, if the young players aren't executing/capable of executing the plays you WANT to call, then figure out what plays they ARE good at running.  Call plays to their strengths, not just the standard package plays that you THINK they should be able to run.  Our O's production is a joke.

Recruiting and not wanting to go through transition are only reasons not to fire him given how the previous regime was judged (other than he is a "michigan man" bullshit). Personally if he loses peppers and others I would just can him IF you have a high quality coach lined up. If we are talking about running a process give him another year. Take a $6mm a year contract with ton of money for assistants out for a stroll and see who you can get.

no I am not on board, we need to fire hoke, his philosophy is bad, he cant coach properly, he cant manage a single game without making mistakes himself, let alone the players, but brandon will give him year 4 and we will watch this tir fire and lose more and more recruiting.  Fire him now and get hte rebuilding process going, we will take a hit but let us rebuild.  we are not going to win anything anytime soon

Show me a game where you said "Hoke's coaching won this".

Was RR fired because he wouldn't fire Gibson?  He fired Shafer and then forced a mediocre GERG into the 3-3-5 with crappy assistants.

If only Brandon had opened the checkbook for a real DC

I blame RR for staff loyalty in the face of poor reality, and I blame Brandon for not helping him, and seeming to want to start his own AD ego trip.

The checkbook is open now, if Hoke is willing to make changes then give him year # 4.

Couldn't believe we were that unprepared for a gutted Nebraska team!  I found myself agreeing with Chris Spielman almost the whole game.  That made me sick.  Heard where Auburn only passed 10 times today.  We shouldn't have tried to run 10 times today.

Weeellll, we had really good practices this week....the kids competed hard in practice.  Remember, year one when Hoke and Mattison kept saying the players are starting to get what it means to play at Michigan?  Is this what it means?  If so this sucks!

The main thing I hate about Hoke is he is a glorified Noseguard coach. His brain has never gone past teaching dline technique. Watch him in practice or pregame. He's with the dline only...and the dline SUCKS!

It's time to panic. Fire Funk tonight. Put a grad assistant there. Then get a better guy next season.

This is the product of a 47 and 50 head coaching hire coupled with a Dinardo offensive coordinator.  Also appears Mattison is getting a look at all the freshman with Taco, Stribling, Thomas and Lewis seeing meaningful minutes.

Even after last week, I was sure Michigan would struggle to 8 or 9 wins and the coaches would get another year no matter what we thought. Now, with a negative rushing game at home against a middling Nebraska D? With players that look like they are going through the motions? With the crowd booing our team? With no clear wins left?

Hoke must make staff changes at the end of this year or ride and die with them next.

I got to be honest, I don't think it is just certain staff members that we think of constantly. Hoke himself has epically failed. How many times can a team hear how lucky that they are to be at Michigan before they get the "grass is greener" syndrome? The nebulous "Michigan" can't win games. Coaching your players up wins games. Having Taylor Lewan scream at his teammates like their idiots, that isn't leadership. I get why we are horrible on offense. The leadership on that side of the ball is awful and toxic. Sorry, Taylor is a great player, but he clearly is a terrible leader if that is motivation method.

Shockingly, I doubt changes will be made and we actually will be a better team by getting having better chemistry. Team chemistry is so important and this team has zero! Wow! This team is pressing and impotent.

Chris Spielman is describing this as "unrecognizable" as Michigan football.

Bo Pelini, when asked post game what he told Brady Hoke, said "That's between me and him."  (paraphrasing).

Everyone sees it.  Everyone knows.  There's nothing here.  No substance.  What happens to cotton candy when you put it in water?  It disappears.

That's our offense.  Some idiot in the officer corps blows a whistle, and the poor damn foot soldiers get sent out of the trenches, running in a straight line to be gunned down en masse without a hope in the world.  They lost confidence in their leadership.  So has this team.

And I don't blame them a bit.  They're talented players and good young men, and they deserve better.
