I would, considering he runs one of the most basic pass packages around. Denard needs to be able to read through the progressions of plays we already run before we worry about how complex of pass defenses teams will run against us. Once we find a runningback and the offensive line matures/gets-better then there won't be any need to plan for any complex coverages (as is pretty much the assumption of his fleshed out WVU playbook), as we'll be on the ground most of the game, and they'll have trouble stopping it.

We're not on the ground most of the game because of the defense, not the offense. Our O-line and backs+Denard are good enough already that Rod would prefer to run most of the time. Unfortunately, playing from behind a lot means a pass-happy offense.

P.S. Bring back Nike? Look at Oregon's uniform collection and the proposed new Sparty logo from last year and say that again with a straight face.

Playing from behind includes not scoring when you have the ball too, so I would say the offense is certainly not firing on all cylinders. We have to pass the ball quite a bit more than Rich Rod did at WVU because we can't just run Denard into the pack against good defenses. Our running backs are not good enough to support what Rodriguez wants to run (or really, in general), and the offensive line hasn't matured yet. It shows in the film for the running backs, and failures upfront on the line (They're not bad certainly, but they haven't reached their potential. Its more about making up for RB production). There's a reason Denard was top-5 in the country in total rushing yards, and it's not just because he's a great athlete. The RB's are not getting the carries (or any of the many screen passes Rich Rod loved using at WVU to Slaton), and it's no coincidence.

And yeah, I'd like some jerseys that actually fit and apparel worth paying inflated prices for. People act like Nike would have just came in here and ransacked everything. If you want to go isolated case to isolated case, I'll point to Penn State and Texas.

While I agree with you 100 percent that the unis you referenced in your post are ugly, your argument "against" Nike actually supported the other poster's signature "argument."  Oregon is 12-0 and MSU is 11-1.  His signature says he wants Nike back to end the "Adidas curse."  Maybe you should have chosen teams with records as ugly as their unis for your argument.

If UA came in and replaced our away jerseys with the style we had back when Jim Harbaugh was QB, that would probably be the best situation all around for us. Auburn has some of the best jerseys around.
