(small)Donnie Corley Update
Both Rivals and ESPN are reporting that Corley's visit in AA yesterday went very well. Corley mentioned that things have now changed with Michigan, and that the Wolverines definitely increased their chances.
Combine that with his attendance at the BBQ Sunday.....Might be a nice trend towards the good guys. Corley and Mitchell would be a heck of a finish for us at wideout.
at my age, I'd be making an unscheduled appointment with my orthopedic surgeon ASAP.

Sparties don't lean. They stagger.
He's an MSU stagger.
For now.
That picture is actually kind of awesome.

It probably smells like hay up in there too.
Love me some life untamed.
"It probably smells like hay up in there too."
Are you talking about the mascot or the girls?
He has been an MSU lean for some time, and the rumor is that our staff offered him later than he would have liked.
I'm sure Harbaugh and Co showed him plently of love yesterday, hopefully that will erase any doubt of the coaching staff's interest.
It is crazy that the old staff didn't make him a priority especially with the need at WR.

I'm no scientist, but I believe that is against the rules.
Allow myself to introduce...myself.
You can but no BBQ sauce or cream cheese, you can have cole slaw or potato salad but only before it's mixed up with the dressing.
It would be hilarious if OSU really passed on Mitchell in hopes to get Corley, and then both end up at Michigan. Especially if Victor ends up in the SEC.
2 of the 3 are most likely going to happen too. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we get Corley. With that being said, if the staff stays in his ear at the bbq we might get lucky.
Here is the proof
#ESPN300 WR Donnie Corley says his visit to Michigan yesterday increased Wolverines' chances to land him. Will be at the BBQ Sunday

Good news POSBANG!
Though I am getting less optimistic about any non-committed players out of NJ. The season can't start soon enough so these guys can see an on-field product worth buying into.
to add to this, per 247 composite....
Ahmir MIthcell is rated directly behind Binjimen Victor in the top 100. Victor is the #8 WR. So, if Michigan lands both Mitchell and Corley, we would land the #9, #18 and #30 WR's, all 4* (very nice haul).
If Michigan lands both Corley and Lavert Hill, MIchigan will have landed 3 of the top 4 in the state and 4 of the top 7. For comparison sakes, Michigan State has the #8 rated in state prospect - we would have 4 ranked higher.
Given the results on the field the last few years, this is absolutely embarrasing (if it happens, of course) for Michigan State. What happens to them when Michigan is back, and 10 win seasons become the norm, and were once again pissed at an 8 or 9 win season?
BTW, we may be trending down for Upshur, but ill take either Hill or Corley any day instead. Not that i am not high on Upshur, but i think Ian Bunting is an absolute stud in the making. I believe Corley, and even more so Hill, are larger need positons.
