Title says it all. Somebody throw up a chart or a cat picture or something. Besides, we all know you're just waiting for Brian's official preview anyway.

Ugh, so happy the office is getting out at 3pm today - work is just not happening right now.
I've been here for an hour and a half today, only taken 3 calls, done jack other work. On the brightside, I only have a half day today so I can leave town (Chicago) and drive to Novi tonight for my Grandpa's 100th birthday celebration this weekend, so I'll be visiting Ann Arbor tomorrow. I doubt I'll get much done in the next 2.5 hours.

Let's hope Saban feels like this at the end of the game.

I hope he feels that way the whole damn game.
I still find it somewhat difficult to believe that Nick Saban has emotion.

This thought just struck me....is Nick Saban really Tom Izzo disguised in a Bama shirt? Ask yourself, have you ever seen the two of them in the room together at the same time?
Hmm....
We ARE Michigan....COME GET SOME!!!
Last night was my first GVSU class of the semester. I was taking notes while watching a hidden iPhone running the Vandy game on ESPN3.
I think I have a problem.
there probably will be later in the day. i have to imagine they want the last one to include a lot of stuff about arriving in dallas, practice in jerryworld, etc.
i'm more just waiting for brian's preview.
It's been a lot. Its been a roller coaster that for some reason seemed like it would never get good. But you know what? We kept fighting. It's like that old saying goes, "Those Who Stay Will Be Champions." -David Molk
I'm in Ann Arbor for work today. I'm currently trying to decide which watering hole I'll visit for lunch and what my exit strategy will be for the day (read how early I'll call it quits).
Could not sleep last night and woke up at 515 for no reason so decided to head into work early to get out early. Not very successful at focusing on much right now either...
That is interesting given what they did to him/Michigan a few years ago.
Anyone know what happened with the Henry V themed "Dear Diary" that was on the home page a few minutes ago? It was the St. Crispin's Day speech. Gave me chills.
I assume it was just posted too early or something, and will be back up later, but I feel like I've been horribly teased that I only got to read what was on the home page. By the time I clicked the jump, it was gone.
:(
This is going to be the longest 24 hr call of my life. 5 hrs down, 19 to go...
This has been the longest summer of my life.
I've been doing slow and tedious statistcal analysis for a socilogy research assitantship.
I've been looking forward to the start of College, NFL, and European Football (Futbol)
And I've been counting down the days to my 21st birthday (next Thursday)
Now it's the last day of my tedious statistical research
The eve of Michigan Bama
And the week of my 21st.
FINALLY!
Anyone heading down to Dallas today? If so, give us unlucky bastards some updates in this thread today, just so we can live vicariously through you and pretend we're in the car/airport instead of sitting on our a--es at work.

I will only be in the office for another hour, which is probably just as well since I have not done too much other than look at the box scores from other games since I arrived here at 7 AM. Further, I probably would have snuck away in the afternoon regardless - if you've ever worked in a business / building where the majority of the people spend much of each day in the field, the day before a long weekend typically means that the building is a ghost town. The downside to today is that the bulti-in out involves taking my son for some tests because of what I shall describe as "lingering gastrointestinal issues", so it may not exactly be a fun afternoon off.
Through it all, thoughts of 8 PM tomorrow distract me. I am hoping that Saban's "Curse you, Michigan!" face is something like this:

"Funny isn't it, how naughty dentists always make that one fatal mistake."

I hope your son's pooper is okay!
Ohhh boy, you're going to be one of those dads that loves to embarrass his kids in front of his friends, haha.

Thankfully my office is letting out at noon today. Half of the people I work with are already gone, and the other half are not accomplishing anything. I'm hitting the refresh button every 10-15 minutes waiting to see if Brian has put up his preview.

The only thing keeping me focused right now is the fact that I need to decide what brand of whiskey to buy for tomorrow and planning consumption levels that will not leave me drooling on the floor before the game is over.

Random note not worthy of a thread, Stevie Brown will make the Giants final roster as a safety (not as a LB, but a safety). As a Giants fan I'm worried
Hearing S Stevie Brown will be on the Giants' final 53. Roster will be officially announced later today.

What happens if we don't achieve that step in the cycle? Does that mean we are stuck on the "Get Coffee and/or Cookie" step? And what if we don't like coffee? Can we substitute some other form of caffeine like a Coca-Cola or the like?

Arts, Beats and Eats is getting warmed up on 3 sides of my office and my flight to Ft. Myers leaves at 5:30, so I'm not getting a whole lot accomplished right now either
Looking like Beer:30 is going to start much earlier than the usual 4:30 around here. Everyones just sitting around talking about football, might as well have a beer as well.
