I'm sure that I'm not the only one watching the OSU game against Alcorn State on the BTN. Haven't watched the whole thing, but it looks like OSU can shoot pretty well and score points. It also looks like Alcorn State is pretty bad. It's hard to tell whether it has more to do with OSU's skill or Alcorn State's lack of talent.
Part of the reason I created this this thread was to talk about OSU's team and partly because of something the commentators said during the game. They said that as soon as a player on Alcorn State came into the game, he would get a technical foul because he is jersey number 7.
Two problems with that: 1) why would wearing a number over 5 not be allowed? Does the NCAA want to make sure the other numbers aren't left out or something? And 2) Why wouldn't the jerk player just wear a different number? The number 7 can't possibly be that special to take a technical for it. I'm surprised the coach lets him play. I didn't see whether he got in the game or not. Did he come in and get the technical?
Thoughts on the game?
