Skrepenak Sells Honor for $5000 Bribe
He plead guilty yesterday to taking a $5000 bribe as a county commissioner. He's expected to serve 2.3-3.5 of federal time. Claims he didn't know bribes were illegal until told so by FBI.
Wow, he's a big guy.

I'm thankful that they didn't lead with "Former University of Michigan football player...".

He's a big guy? Attorney the Hutt is no slouch either. Anyway, always a bummer to see things like this, but it tis politics. I believe the property owner of Greg's dad's bar had something to do with this too. You have to appreciate the bar name, "Big Ugly's." Hail Keith Jackson!

I love how the FBI will send a guy to jail for 3 years for $5000, but totally ignores billions in government fraud.

They leave that to the SEC, who ignores repeated memos by employees that describe fraud because they are getting a piece.
