"By the end of April"

We failed to follow up that answer with a request for the year.

I'm about as fed up with the software here as I am with an offensive line that can't block.

It's from the Hitchhikers Guide books.  The answer to the ultimate question, etc. is 42.  In a later book the question is revealed to be what do you get when you multiply 6 by 9?..

I never read past the first book, so I'm not sure why it doesn't match up.  The series in in my Audio book list.  Just haven't gotten around to it yet.

The question is never revealed. Arthur and Ford, trapped on prehistoric earth, hypothesize that a prehistoric human (in contrast to one of the Golgafrinchians that have colonized the planet and will eventually out-compete cavemen and become the resident sentient race of the planet) might have the ability to inadvertently reveal the solution (as it is a part of the Earth's massive computer matrix) by randomly drawing letters out of a Scrabble bag. The result is the "six by nine" question.

Ford remarks that it might be appropriate for the question and answer to be so correspondingly incomprehensible, but the matter is dropped and they never conclude that this is the correct question.

I believe. It's been a while.

BTW the radio play is quite different from listening to an audiobook and is totally worth it; both are considerably better than the BBC tv show.

I've been thinking the same thing and was wondering if the relative lack of content for a few days was indicative of final touches on the coming upgrade.

You'll never guess what announcement just got published to the hopper you guys.

We had what was meant to be the final meeting before launch on Friday, at which point we wanted to make a few last minute tweaks, and those were made over the weekend. There's a permissions issue going on with porting everything over so whenever Nexus resolves that we're green-lit to press the button whenever we please.

"Whenever Nexus resolves that . . . " I've learned not to get my hopes up, ever. As far as we know, Nexus could take until September to "resolve that." And if that happens, it will be pushed back until after the season. And if that happens, we'll be in the middle of basketball, so we'll have to wait 'til that's done.

Still, I guess I feel reasonably confident that Brian et al will push the button by mid-April, 2019 at the latest.

I've learned not to get my hopes up!!
