Signing day announcement times for top UM targets

What is weird about an 11 am decision? It's just as "weird" as Clark at 8:30 and Iman Marshall at 4 (which is 1 pm where he lives).... So basically.... Not weird whatsoever.

The only thing I can think, is that he didn't get to determine his time slot. Since he is announcing on ESPNU, they determined when he would announce. I don't think the time really means much as far as who gets him, but I'm really feeling good about him picking us.

Not much to report. Everyone says he's trending blue. That doesn't change even if ESPN is confident he's going blue. He could still surprise people.

Also, not sure I am confident that ESPN drives the time. More likely, the player + family and school staff put out a press release. Seems more likely, anyway. Unless his agreement is to speak exclusively to ESPN and no local reporters, etc.

I had thought Green committed in the closing days of January in 2013, about a week or so before NSD that year. I definitely remember the angst and then exhiliration that was experienced here in the weeks leading up to that announcement though.
