Signage for Saturday

Submitted by formerlyanonymous on
First, legalities first. Is it within the rules of Michigan Stadium to bring signs in to the stands? No mention of signs on mgoblue.com If No, I'll just delete this thread. If Yes, what clever sign would you bring to the Big House? We should have enough material between the QB battle, the t-shirt contest, the freep, & general mgoblog humor. Bonus points if it could be shown on TV or would attract the TV cameras (as much as I hate the cliche ABC/ESPN acronym signs, they make it on TV like clockwork). Enlighten me.

I've never seen signs, howeva: "We're gonna win. Seriously, we practiced EXTRA hard for this one." Also: Extra Sunday Practices Non-mandatory

The gameday sign where they incorporated the Home Depot logo at the bottom was the most clever I've seen. I tried to find a picture of it to put on this post but couldn't find it. It was something along the lines of "An OSU degree will get you a job at" with the home depot logo pre-printed at the bottom (the normal gameday sign).

"Michigan- Voluntary work is in our blood" "Hey Freep-- I spent 20+ hrs on my chemistry honors class last week! Help!" "I went to three voluntary workouts last week- for my physics study group" "So we work harder than everybody else-- what's the problem?" "Want to do the minimum? Go to State!"

Signs are allowed at the other venues on campus (ie. yost and crisler) so I would assume that if those two venues allow signs, then the Big House does as well. I have seen signs when watching games on tv in the past so as long as it isn't profane, I'm sure that the ushers wouldn't have a problem with it.
