Very nice article.  I must admidt I was one of the guys very upset at the Hoke hire initially but everything the guy has done since his announcement I've liked.  He got the DC we desparately needed, pulled the fanbase together and has locked down what he could on the existing recruits and gone hard after others we didn't have initially targeted.

I'm sold.  Put me in the "Pro-Hoke" camp.

I too must confess that when I first heard the name I was not impressed. But the more I read about the guy, heard what people were saying about him, coaches and players, looking at his performance and what he himself was saying about the program I started to come around. Then the GMatt hire and now the recruiting success and I'm sold as well. I really have a completely different hopeful feeling about this staff then I did when RR and crew came in and I was in the wait and see camp.

about all this positive recruiting PR Hoke and Mattison seem to be getting is that it likely is playing a role in convincing even more recruits that Michigan has turned the corner and is moving in the right direction.  They also seem to have done what some recruiting people had said would not be possible--they have saved this class from turning into a complete disaster.  It won't be a class filled with stars, but hopefully there will be serviceable players who can contribute 2-3 years down the road, and maybe a couple of star players if we are lucky.
