Oh come on, Frank! If you're gonna get into legal trouble and get yourself suspended, the least you can do is not get injured once you come back! Not very considerate.
October 27th, 2012 at 8:55 AM ^
I can't confirm directly because Frank's twitter account is protected and I don't follow him, but rumor has it that he confirmed it on his twitter account.
October 27th, 2012 at 11:04 AM ^
I follow him and looking back all the way to before the msu game he says nothing about an injury
October 27th, 2012 at 12:30 PM ^
Sorry, it was on his instagram account, which I thought he had linked to his twitter account.
October 27th, 2012 at 12:39 PM ^
I tweeted Frank's doctor and his doctor tweeted me back.

Frank Clark is on the depth chart at starting DE for the game per the notes on MGoBlue - (Go to page 15) - and numerous searches yielded nothing current. Not sure when the depth chart was published, of course. I assume it was earlier in the week.
October 27th, 2012 at 9:12 AM ^
You mean the Depth Chart that has Funchess as our 4th TE?
October 27th, 2012 at 9:08 AM ^
Man, you hate to hear that if true. Probably means more reps from Mario who's starting to turn it on lately.
October 27th, 2012 at 9:08 AM ^
As of a tweet 5 days ago, he had a boot on his foot.
October 27th, 2012 at 9:11 AM ^
Must be something from that game. Take care Frank Clark.
October 27th, 2012 at 9:13 AM ^
Not just you OP, but I really don't like SIAP. Just use the search function and you'll see if it's been posted or not
October 27th, 2012 at 9:55 AM ^
Not that I disagree with you, but the search function really sucks. I searched for a thread I know was posted 2-3 weeks ago and I only found references to 2010 posts.

On Instagram he posted a pic and the caption said he wasn't going to Neb... Earlier in the week when he had the boot, he said it wasn't a big deal an that he was playing...
Doesn't seem like a very serious injury if it was a late week decision
October 27th, 2012 at 10:47 AM ^
Yeah, and his Pinterest account had a photo with a caption that seemed to contradict his Google+ status.

Never want to see a guy get hurt, but Mario Ojemudia has been playing well. And our rotation is set at WDE and all 4 (kind of 5) guys are capable of being effective at the position.
WDE against run first teams/in run situations:
1. Brennen Beyer
2. JiBreel Black
3. Frank Clark
4. Mario Ojemudia / Jake Ryan
WDE against pass heavy teams/in pass situations:
1. Frank Clark
2. Mario Ojemudia
3. Jake Ryan
4. Brennen Beyer / JiBreel Black

Yea, not a huge loss. But when you are going into a huge game like this you want all of your weapons.
October 27th, 2012 at 10:02 AM ^
I think we're going to have to outscore Nebraska a little bit. Problem is, Denard has been terrible on the road under Hoke and we may try to win it with defense and special teams --- never allowing the offense to get into a rythym with conservative playcalling.
I think we have a legit shot at winning a 34-20 type game. But if we have a conservative/don't mess up mindset. Look for something more like 24-20.
In the end, a win is a win...but I hope we go out, play OUR game and get some road confidence (that we'll need @ Ohio) by beating the brakes off the Huskers.
October 27th, 2012 at 10:07 AM ^
Michigan is 15-0 under Mattison + Hoke when scoring 17 points. Everyone's expecting us to need to put up 24+ to win. With the masterminds behind the D, I think we'll be okay at 17.

* Is not indicative of future resluts.
October 27th, 2012 at 10:20 AM ^
True, but 15 football games is a pretty large sample size.
October 27th, 2012 at 10:44 AM ^
What is a "reslut?"
October 27th, 2012 at 11:50 AM ^
That's when a girl who promised herself a week ago that she'll stop sleeping with guys she barely knows finds herself in bed with a guy she just met at the bar. Backsliding as it were.
October 27th, 2012 at 12:02 PM ^
I suppose it would be a newly divorced woman who, after 15 years of marriage, returns to the slutty ways of her college years. I have actually seen this to be a relatively common phenomenon for divorced women in their 40's. (just a helpful tip for any MGoCougarHunters)
October 27th, 2012 at 12:39 PM ^
is a very real thing. And I fucking love it.
October 27th, 2012 at 5:02 PM ^
reincarnated as a 25 year old male, I will set my sights on 35-50 year old divorced women. Easy pickings....

October 27th, 2012 at 11:45 AM ^
I can counteract that with the fact that Hoke & Mattison have a losing road record: 3 road wins and 4 road losses during the regular season.
On top of that, we have not beaten a team with a winning record on the road; NW and Illinois finished the season last year at 6-6, and Purdue is now 3-4. All of our defeats on the road have come at the hands of teams with winning records: Iowa and MSU last year, and Alabama and ND this year.
I agree that a coaching staff that's this early in its tenure still has plenty of time left to establish what its true baseline is for season-by-season achievement. However, based purely on the results so far in 1.5 seasons, I think it's premature to assume that a road victory at Lincoln is in the bag.
October 27th, 2012 at 1:26 PM ^
If you're counting Bama as "away from Michigan Stadium", you might as well count the Sugar Bowl and make it 4-4. And a win against a team with a winning record.

Thanks for pissing in my cherrios
October 27th, 2012 at 10:04 AM ^
That's why the young guys and back ups play early and often. The next guy will be ready.
I love this staff!
Heal up quick Frank.

is a potential playmaker, especially as a pass rusher. We could use him big time on 3rd & long situations as a pass rusher.
I love the long-term prospects for Clark since we have him two more years. Hope he continues to fly straight, and I'm confident that he will. Get well soon, Frank.
On another note, I posted last week that Jake Ryan = THOR. I was talking about or D today, and Jake MF'n Ryan, and my daughter says "is he cute"? I searched google for a pic of him and found this:
EDIT: Daughter's reply is "he's okay". I told her I don't care about that, but he's a BMFn linebacker.
