SIAP: Is Borges coaching the QBs?

Submitted by Dreisbach1817 on

General consensus is that our 2 coaching vacancies will be filled on defensive side (DBs, DL).  That would mean 5 Offensive coaches and 4 Defensive.

That means that we would be left without a true QB coach.  Would this mean that Borges would coach QBs?  I don't see any other assistant coaching such a vital position.  I guess it might also depend on what Singletary ends up doing.

If this topic was already addressed, feel free to take this post off.

I said this in another thread, it's better to have balance, but with Hoke and GMAT, an LB and DB, that leaves 6 for the offense.  Hoke and GMAT could take the D line.  6 for the offense is a lot but Broges doesn't seem like he really recruits so get another recruiter for the offense.  Maybe a QB coach with some Florida ties, who is out of a job right now.

That would suck for Loeffler to go there.  IMHO, with Mattison and Hoke, those are good coaches that can coach and recruit.  The experts know better.  I am just worried about recruiting on the offensive side.  You need a Hoke or Mattison recruiter for the offense.
