Tressel: Where am I?

NCAA: In the Hearing.

Tressel: What do you want?

NCAA: We want information.

Tressel: Whose side are you on?

NCAA: That would be telling. We want information...

Brooks is getting his info from one of the sports radio hosts in Columbus 97.1 if you follow his twitter below you can see that he told Brooks he would bet him 10k that this story is indeed coming out in the near future and he has inside info that it is currently being fact checked and approved by the SI legal team. So from this, if true, I think its safe to assume this article will be the kill shot on the OSU program.

"Tell brooks I'll bet him 10k for charity that an si article was written and handed in He wrote si had zero plans to write 1. 4 st judes kids"

I live in Cleveland and have taken crap from my staff almost non-stop for the past 7 years. I used to get the "Michigan hasn't beaten The Ohio State University in football in the last X days"emails at least once a week. My office has been festooned in Buckeye shit every November for as long as I can remember and I have to listen to that stupid fight song and hang on sloopy when I call cellphones.

And now everyone is very quiet and they say very little. They all have the face of a person who got a call from the Dr saying "we have your test results in but we don't feel comfortable telling you on the phone what they are and what your options might be. Can you come in right away so we can discuss?"

I LOVE it.

I also live and work in Cleveland and have had much of the same experiences. I have enjoyed the silence from my partners, who at this time of the year would usually be showing up in my office to discuss OSU's latest 5-star recruits and shaking their heads at Michigan's 3-stars. It is almost like the 90s again (but not quite yet).

I love it too. Go Blue!

You should check out the Fox and Hound in Mayfield (SOM Center Rd, just north of Mayfield Road). The local UM Alumni Group frequently meets there for games -- all football games for sure, and some basketball and hockey. If you are a member of the Alumni Association, you should be on the local group's list. If you get them their email address, you will get notices.

Next fall, just show up in the back room of the Fox and Hound and introduce yourself. A group will be there.

Thank you for the info. Unfortunately, I'm not an alumnus, graduated from Toledo.

I'll definitely make it out there for a few games. I'm in the strongsville area, so it shouldn't be too bad of a drive.

Where I work in ohio I’ve been hassled about Michigan since the day tressel was hired. About that time a new plant manager was hired and they have given me hell since then. Some things I’ve endured: Was threatened with firing when the Fri before a Michigan osu game when I was serenaded by a group buckeye co-workers dressed in buckeye grab, I sang my Michigan songs as they sang theirs, and when one buckeye co-worker displayed his shirt that read “Choke – The official drink of Michigan Football”, I displayed a photo I had found of brutus on a Michigan truck with his eyes + out. The buckeye group and myself had a good laugh over the shirt and brutus photo, the plant manager came by and told me either the photo was gone or I was! When I asked about the "Choke – The official drink of Michigan Football" shirt, the look I got told me all I needed to know. I’ve seen Ann Arbor is a Whore and Michigan Sucks, shirts, posters, etc. I’ve been told when asked if I was going to Michigan that weekend and I said Yes, “Are you going to see the Whore? Being a bit caught off guard I’ve asked ”What?” and they replied “Ann Arbor”. I’ve wanted to say, “Does your mother live in Ann Arbor?”, but I haven’t because I need that damn job. Once I needed to get a product to a customer that had requested a Rush Delivery. I needed to enter the QC log after I tested the product so I could send it to the shipping department, which ceased shipping at 5PM. For some reason my user name and password wouldn’t work, I tried several times and then shut the system down and turned it back on, still no luck. With time running out I called IS and told them I needed help. The IS manger told me he couldn’t help me (I thought something was very strange the way he was talking, he sounded kind of embarrassed). He said the Plant Manager had changed my password to “bucksrule#1.” I missed the shipping time and the Rush Delivery was not shipped until the next day, I WAS PISSED!!!!! When I told my immediate supervisor the next day the reason the Rush Delivery was not shipped he said he’d let the plant manager tell the customer why he didn’t get his product, ”Ass Hole” he said, as he is a Nebraska fan and hates osu as much as I do.

osu deserves all the crap the media is giving them, plus any penalties the NCAA can level against them, and their fans that support this unconscionable, unethical, unprincipled, unscrupulous; deceitful, deceiving, deluding, delusive, delusory, falseslickdefrauding, devious, furtive, slippery, sneaking, sneaky, trickish, tricky; insidious, perfidious, treacherous, crooked, deceptive, double-dealing, duplicitous, fraudulent, guileful, rogue, shady, shifty, underhand, underhanded (I think that about covers it) behavior deserve the same.

I worked for 6 months in a pizza shop where all the other employees and workers were major Bucknuts. One of my bosses hated me from Day 1 and gave me hell the whole time I was there. My fellow workers posted one of those index cards with the season schedule written on it over my food prep table in August so I got to study osu's schedule all through the football season as I made pizza. On the day osu lost to Wisconsin I wrote "NOOOOO!!!!!!!" next to that game on the schedule. Mmmm...tears.

My daughter and I have worked out a code so I can send a message to her on Tuesday through the school:

The story didn't come out: Take the bus home

Story is no big deal (1-2): Don't take the carpool home

The story is embarrassing but not a killer (3-5): Don't stay after school

It's really bad and a major problem (6-8) I'll be home early to meet you.

OMG, I wonder if they get the death penalty (9-10): Won't be home; the key is in the regular place.

Any refinements needed?

Whenever you get one of those "it's been x days since Michigan has beaten OSU in football" Emails you could always reply with a " it's been X days since Ohio State has run a clean program".

I'm surprised none of the major Networks hasn't started a reality TV show that follows around the NCAA compliance divisions. I'd be willing to bet the dirt from many of these programs in question would make for big ratings. They could even name it "Student Athletes Gone Wild" or "CSI: Indianapolis".

How does one upload a picture without a URL? I could use assistance. I edited the "OHIO" countdown clock and would like to post it. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks.

I've tried repeatedly to upload an image using the URL from my image-hosting site, and all I ever get is a broken image icon. Frustrating as hell....don't know what I'm doing wrong.
