LIttle Brown Jugs that is!!!
I know we've had memorabilia threads before and I also know there is a subgenre of Michigan collectors who are focused on the the Little Brown Jug (Greg Dooley from MVictors perhaps being the most noted collector and archivist of Jug lore). Thought I'd share a little.
About eight or nine years ago I found this old bourbon bottle on ebay.
As I said, from what I can gather it was a promotional whisky bottle put out some time in the mid-70's. That was my favorite artifact until two years ago when a client of mine came to my office with a thank you present that he found at a yard sale.
I've only been in the presence of the real jug twice and both times were over 15 years ago. This one is about 2/3 the size of the real one and the scores stop at 2008 (presumptively when it was made). Anyone else have any Little Brown Jug memorabilia or a replica jug of their own?
