Should Michigan bring back maize road pants next year?
Curious where everyone sits on this.
I was apprehensive re: the road uniforms when it was first announced they would be wearing all white. After seeing them this year they are slightly better than I thought they would be, but I can't lie, I miss the maize pants on the road. Feels more like Michigan to me.

An alternative option would be to keep the all whites as a third jersey. That way the traditionalists who like the maize pants can be happy but those who like the whites can see them worn one game a year.

I don't see why that can't work. Doesn't even have to be one game, use a few for both. It's the road uniform, so a little variety will not damage tradition.
I love the white pants. I want them to remain in the rotation. However, there are times that maize pants make sense. This Saturday is probably the best example, with blue and white Penn State playing against, basically, white and blue Michigan. The Maize pants would add some nice contrast this weekend.

We did so much uniformz stuff the past few years, I just want to get back to the basic classic look and kick ass.

If the maize away pants were good enough for Tripp, they are good enough for me. The whites aren't terrible, but our colors are maize and blue.

but we could use the Maize for alternates that aren't uniformz. I like the white pants and Harbaugh does too. And we want a happy Harbaugh unless he's pissed at the refs. That is both appropriate for the crappy officiating this year and perfect for gifs.

I love the white pants. Wasn't sure I was going to. But I think it makes the helmet stand out more.
But I'd be fine if they alternated white/yellow. They are both great.
Wondering if/what changes will come with Jumpman next season.

I know I will probably get some criticism but I think we should go with 2 standard uniforms that we use for all but two games a season. Then have two alternate uniforms.
Standard Uniforms
Home - Blue Jersey / Maize Pant
Away - White Jersey / Maize Pant
Alternate Uniforms
Home - Blue Jersey / Blue Pant
Away - White Jersey / White Pant

I'm OK with "tinkering" with the road uniforms to the extent you listed, but our home uniforms are sacred and should NEVER be anything other than the traditional Michigan uniform. Not a single one of the 'uniformz' combinations that Dave "If it's not broke, break it!" Brandon allowed over the last several years looked good at all.

Sugar Bowl unis were subtle and ok. And I actually really liked last year's PSU unis. Didn't really care for the rest though.

I would be down with this. Although, I would make the all-white uniform standard.
I personally loved the all blue look. I thought it could have been executed better, but it was probably my favorite alternate. I'll be interested to see what Nike eventually comes up with.

the white pants so many times after labor day has been impressive this season. I wouldn't push it next year. Back to maize.
