Should Denard start against Purdue?

I know it's a big stretch to compare Delaware State to Purdue as far as defense goes, but I think we should try and go with the gameplan we were using late in the first half in the DSU game against Purdue. If we bring Koger in as H-back and just pound the ball with Denard/Minor/Brown/Shaw that should limit the time we need our defense on the field. Tate should definitely play but it seems like it might work out better with a Tate - Denard role reversal. Both bring in turnover possibilities but when you're running, rarely does a fumble turn into a direct touchdown unlike an interception that can be returned much easier for 6. This strategy would be implemented more to protect our lack of coverage on defense and lack of pass protection by our O-line more so than the latest shortcomings that have fallen upon Tate. RR should realize our weaknesses and use what strengths we have to overcome them. What our your thoughts?

This may have been mentioned earlier, but I can't be the only one who notices that opposing defenses have a tough time stopping the Denard led run game. When we line up in the 1 back with Denard and either Brown or Minor and run the read, zone, & especially the QB power we move the ball. If he didn't have that recent stretch of fumbles then he would be getting major snaps right now. Tate is obviously the better QB right now, but when Denard is in the game we move the ball on the ground. We know were running, the defense knows were running, even the commentators know were running and we still get 4-5 yds a pop. We don't need to start him or do it all game, but get him in there and commit to the run game. I'm tired of seeing us throw the ball so much when this is obviously a running offense.

But come in for the 3rd series yes. That's been when the wheels begin to come off the bus so maybe it will give Tate a chance to calm down and see the defense.

I don't know about start, but I'd like to see Denard get more time. Tate has made a number of errant throws, fumbles, and bad sacks recently. Maybe it's the fault of the o-line. BUT, with Denard you have that constant threat of a huge play and I think the read-option could get many yards in chunks as well.

I'd only like to see Denard start the game if Forcier and Sheridan get hurt between now and then. Seriously, Denard throws an interception about 25% of the time. Let's keep that on the bench.

Denard should be used as a situational guy. Start Tate but give Denard some snaps here and there. On 3rd and long, he should be replaced.
