Short Logan Tuley-Tillman update

Submitted by Steve Lorenz on

Hey guys, I just got off the phone with Logan fresh off his visit to Columbus yesterday. He said he enjoyed the visit, liked meeting Urb, Fickell and Vrabel. He said it was a sight to see Urb's two championship rings (naturally).

Two important things though: First, Michigan is still his leader. This is less than a day after visiting Ohio. To me, this says they aren't really a threat. He didn't hesitate when saying Michigan was his leader.

Second, and not quite as good news: I don't anticipate that he'll announce in late March like he said he would. He's being blown up lately with great offers, so I think he's going to take his time in what he decides to do. I don't necessarily think this is bad news for Michigan. He seems pretty confident in them being the leader at this point.

On Wolverine Nation there was an interview with Jeremy Clark's dad in which he basically said that everywhere they went, they compared to Michigan.  Michigan was the measuring stick, so to speak.  Maybe this is the case with LTT as well.  I can hope can't I?

This story is shaping up Diamond'esque circa 2011/12.

Early leaders and then drifting down the line? Or Dee Hart 2010/11.

I like that we are early leaders but when the decision is stalled time and again - I get spooked.

We have always enjoyed inside information from multiple sources.  This isn't a competition.

With that said, if you think you can do better than Ace or anyone else, please feel free.

I mentioned this in the previous thread about this and it got marked as "flamebait" by at least several people (ED: there appears to be someone negging a lot of posts on this thread, as in not just mine, not sure what that's about but OK).  I don't think these people understand all that goes into these decisions and how difficult it is for recruits, especially when asking them to make a decision so quickly.  With so much attention and so many offers, it makes sense for someone to take a bit more time, see everything clearly, and take some time away from places to make the right informed decision for themselves.  For most of us this decision would be a little easier because we are die hard fans (and even then it isn't as simple as it seems), but for most recruits it is much, much more complicated.

I hope he makes the right decision for himself and I hope that decision is Michigan when he feels ready.  It sounds like Michigan has a good shot.
