Sheridan Should be Moved to Linebacker

Submitted by Brodie on
Look, it's clearly a position of need and he's NOT GOOD ENOUGH to play quarterback. His dad is an NFL DC. It makes perfect sense!

This might be the best new and fresh idea I've seen in a while. He's clearly not going to play over Tate. We should move all our players that aren't starting to new positions. Then move them back. It makes perfect sense.

Ah ha! I'm on to you! You just want him to move to LB so he can be the first LB to win the Heisman, as evidenced by the link in your signature. My conspiracy theory manifesto on this will be out on the interwebs within the hour!

Very good, it will also be good training for when he replaces RR as head coach in 2017. Also joining in on another thread, RR's son should be QB in 2017 and who would be a better mentor. Look what Sheridan's knowledge has done for Tate and Denard this year already. Of course in time we could be handing out college footballs most prestigious award, The Sheridan, ah yes the future is bright!

In theory, I agree. But I think it also at least requires moving: Will Campbell to Punter. Zoltan to SS. Mike Williams to WR. Mathews to Defensive Coordinator. GERG to FB. Moundros to the Bengals. Leon Hall to RB. Shaw to DT. Anyone who disagrees needs to donate more money to the athletic department before they are allowed to talk to me.

I'd like to see Big Will in the slot. Many of us have been a little concerned about the number of 5'-6", 3-star guys being brought in at that position; moving number 73 out there would put a quick end to all that talk. A 300+ pounder, 5-star recruit on the receiving end of a bubble screen would scare the life out of opposing corners.

He obviously projects better into safety, a position of more need. Balls out athleticism? Check Knowledge of offense? Check Knowledge of defense? Check Grit? Some say he has too much I'm sure once he adjusts, he'll be the next Berry/Mays.
