It was looking really good at the opening, like others said below, but then afterwards his coach made it very clear he "wasn't committing anytime soon" and then he took a visit or two to the south and there hadn't been a word out of him till now.  I will certainly take it, its great being able to keep a kid in state like this.

at Michigan all the while pretending to be kidding.  He's like the person that constantly says "no offense, but" and then goes on to completely slam the person as if the "no offense" absolves anything that comes after.

Playing an obviously concussed QB, running a practice in a gale with a kid on a scissors lift, the whole Lizzy Seeburg thing.  References:

By the way, my ND fan friends have been troubled by these things and not doing an OSU "there's nothing to see here", much to their credit.  Legitimate questions that the Irish fanbase takes seriously.

My friends girlfriend grew up in South Bend and is a huge ND fan everything. We were talking college football Saturday and she mentioned a few stories against ND that I hadnt heard of. Obviously we all know the Floyd and scissor lift stories but she mentioned more than a few sexual assault claims and other unethical charges against Kelly. But like how Michigan had some Rodriguez haters, ND has some Kelly haters. In the end no one will care if you bring the W's.

But heres to another Michigan win vs ND this fall.

Damn, that's too bad. I was hoping if we didn't get him, he'd go south. It's still been down to O'Brien and Pipkins for us for a while, so hopefully one of them (or both) go blue.

I'm really suprised they (notre Dame) offered any D line this class after taking so many last year. Well that and the fact all you hear is glowing reports about their freshman. I up voted some of your previous posts since it looked like someone down voted you for no reason.

At one time I had hoped that Day could make up for our 2012 class' distinct lack of dreads, but it was not to be.(I'm still holding out hope that diamond can fix this, though)

Not that he isn't a good, no GREAT get.

Just I don't think anyone REALLY thought we had a shot. IMO, people are looking at Pipkins and O'Brien as our best shots. Shittu #3 and Day was #4.

Once again, not saying Day wasn't the best of that group, I wouldn't be qualified to make that call...I'm just saying that we all knew he wasn't coming to Michigan. Shittu is a long shot too. We REALLY have it narrowed down to two guys...Pipkins and O'Brien.

I knew there had to be a reason he picked up that 5th star on scout. Seriously the kid looks like a heluva player and is a very good pickup for them. Hopefully Pipkins pulls the trigger soon.

That is good but unfortunate pickup for ND. Since the start of his recruiting I wanted him here at Michigan. More so than others actually. He is a hell of a player. Best of luck to him in the future

If O'Brien picks his previous favorite (Tenn) and Pipkins gets wowed on a visit to, say, Missouri what does that leave us with?  I think Shittu is an extreme long-shot.  I wonder what other DTs they've been in contact with.
