Shane Morris puts The Game in perspective

I am so glad Shane Morris is going to Michigan.  At whatever point he wins the starting QB job, I know Ohio State wins those games.  He absolutely sucks.  I saw him play against an Ohio high school team, and he was horrible.  Most JV quarterbacks would have faired better. He was like 9-23 for 105 yds and 2 ints.  And the funny thing most of his yardage was against the 3rd and 4th string defenses.  From my understanding he did real well in the camp circuit/ flag football games.  You will see when you put the pads on for real football he can't play.  Thank you Shane for the entertainment you provided back on Sept. 9th here in Ohio.  It was truly a pleasure to watch you get your ass handed to you.  The only thing this kid is good for is his ability to trash talk on twitter.  Enjoy the next 4 years losers.

The game you're probably talking about was against St. Ignatius, which was the #18 team in the country leading up to this past weekend.  De La Salle, meanwhile, has very little talent overall and does not typically produce FBS players.

I would also hate it if we were 12-0 and not going to the National Championship Game, but we somehow had the audacity to allow the coach who caused that to happen not obly to be let on the filed but to be lionized at the 12th game.  I am sure the 12-0 seniors will look back on this fondly and realize how important they truly were.  Actually feel bad for them.  Would much rather be behind a team with an 8-4 in this regard, dissapointed, but at least with honor.  That made my stomach turn watching that.

Would OSU even be in the national championship anyway?  They're still behind Bama and Georgia in the polls and 1 of those teams is going to pick up a ton of points for beating a top 3 team.

I'd have a hard time putting them in the NC game (and I'm a Buckeye fan).  They're a good, good team (12-0 is tough to argue with), but they just don't have that top-5 "feel."  That being said, I only wish we had a bowl game so we could see how we do stack up.  I wouldn't want to play Bama or Orgeon though....

I can't figure out why they would be allowed to compete in the regular season, but not be eligible for the Championship game.  I would prefer to see Nebraska play OSU with Nebraska guaranteed the Rose Bowl because OSU is ineligible for post season.

Nebraska would also benefit from playing and beating OSU, and then at least they would not have an easy road to an undefeated season and an * that will be looked at with pride by the Buckeye fans.

I am just proud of the fact that as a Michigan fan I don't have to defend the credibility of my program- it isnt in question. The very fact that this conversation is happening speaks to the character of ohio's program.

I bet I know who the bum is that negged this.

The fact you people try to justify the sanctions just speaks volumes. Take it and move on like we did with the Ed Martin scandal.

Something I think adds to the rivalry is the fact that Brady didn't go to Urban to shake his hand. I know Brady had an excuse for not doing it, but I'm sure we all know he did it on purpose. I don't think he skipped the hand shake because he is a sore loser (he isn't by ANY means), but rather to add some fuel to the rivalry. I have no problem with Brady's doing that. Some of the buckeye fans at my house after the game made such a big deal about it, but I loved it. I'm sure said buckeye fans would have loved it if M won and Urban did the same thing Brady did.
