I have heard they are on the optimistic side of things.

I have heard they are on the optimistic side of things.
I certainly hope that he gets a fifth year. Whether he's playing QB or WR, he's the best athlete we'll have at either position.
Love the enthusiasm. I will cherish the day we stomp Ohio and get to see the palpable stress on Urban's face.
While I found this somewhat humorous, I'm pretty sure most if not all OSU fans couldn't care less about a bowl right now. They beat us and capped off an undefeated season. They've set themselves up as a top 5 team next season. I'm sure they look at stuff like this as nothing more than Michigan being a sore loser.
I was going to say this as well. They don't care about a bowl or not playing in the title game. All they care about is beating Michigan. Sounds a bit crazy to me but hey that's the Buckeyes. They also probably think that their lord and savior Meyer will get them there next year anyway.
O trust me those fucks wish they could go to a bowl game and don't think for one second that they don't.
I have never seen a school celebrate the person that cost them a chance at a BCS bowl in the biggest game of their season. How the NCAA does nothing while Tressel is allowed to give the team speeches and be the center of a celebration is mind baffling.
I have found some peace in knowing that ohio fans will all have to die wondering "what if" about this season, and they have nothing to blame but their own arogance for not self-imposing a bowl ban last year.
Agreed. While I would love to be 12-0 right now, I find consolation in the asterisk that will accompany their undefeated season. Congrats on the 12-0* Ohio.
But the truth is we lost and no matter how often we remind them of this they won the game.
Shane Morris didn't lose and he's going to show up next year with something to say about the outcome for some years ahead.
It's his perogative to talk some disrespectful trash to Ohio. He'll need to back it up is all.
That made me smile thanks Shane.
This would be funny if we didnt have to play Georgia or Florida in our bowl game...After watching our "progression" over the course of the season, no one can reasonably look at either opponent and not expect us to get crushed on national TV.
The ineligibowl, from what I hear anyway.
35-23 over Penn State.
I'm pretty sure they care when the fan base takes it upon themselves to petition President Obama for a chance to go to the BCS championship..
Its so fucking funny that they are bowl ineligible because of the person that they praised and celebrated for on their last game of the season. Then after the game they go to the locker room and complain about not being able to play in a bowl. What a bunch of fucking idiots. NCAA just got punched in the face for their celebration.
Know if Conley took his visit this weekend?
Yes, he did.
It would seem that way, but apparently he hasn't talked to the coaches since the visit.
Peace dawwwgg...heard De'Quan is moving up the the recruiting rankings
I was truly hoping that thing would just go away. I know some people under the age of 12 find him hilarious but to me he's just a bad Ali-G impressionist
Like Da' ratard. See how i do that?
Ali g wannabe and ali g fell flat a lot... This guy is horrible
I find it hilarious.
I love Da'Quan. Of coures he is just a doofus, but wait until you get in the "real world" for a bunch of years and everyone looks, talks, and acts the same homogenized way. He's funny because he's so ridiculous.
What's on the back of the shirt? "Thanks, Coach Tressel"?
OSU doesn't even remember the transgressions (just players selling trinkets in their delusional memory) and don't recognize the vacated games. Just win-at-all-cost.
All the more reason for us to win The Game so they can lose crooked. We need to win on the field.
Whiner sore loser shit. We lost. deal.
Yeah, he sucks so bad that he's a 5-star QB. I'll trust the professional recruiting guys over your clearly impartial observation.
The game you're probably talking about was against St. Ignatius, which was the #18 team in the country leading up to this past weekend. De La Salle, meanwhile, has very little talent overall and does not typically produce FBS players.
I would also hate it if we were 12-0 and not going to the National Championship Game, but we somehow had the audacity to allow the coach who caused that to happen not obly to be let on the filed but to be lionized at the 12th game. I am sure the 12-0 seniors will look back on this fondly and realize how important they truly were. Actually feel bad for them. Would much rather be behind a team with an 8-4 in this regard, dissapointed, but at least with honor. That made my stomach turn watching that.
Would OSU even be in the national championship anyway? They're still behind Bama and Georgia in the polls and 1 of those teams is going to pick up a ton of points for beating a top 3 team.
I'd have a hard time putting them in the NC game (and I'm a Buckeye fan). They're a good, good team (12-0 is tough to argue with), but they just don't have that top-5 "feel." That being said, I only wish we had a bowl game so we could see how we do stack up. I wouldn't want to play Bama or Orgeon though....
I don't think OSU could hang with Oregon/Stanford/Alabama... The big 10 was too weak this year and their 60th ranked stength of schedule isn't that impressive..not enough to bump them into a chance at the NC. I do think, however, they match up well against ND.
I can't figure out why they would be allowed to compete in the regular season, but not be eligible for the Championship game. I would prefer to see Nebraska play OSU with Nebraska guaranteed the Rose Bowl because OSU is ineligible for post season.
Nebraska would also benefit from playing and beating OSU, and then at least they would not have an easy road to an undefeated season and an * that will be looked at with pride by the Buckeye fans.
Nebraska already played osu...and lost badly. Ohio hung like 60 points on them.
I am just proud of the fact that as a Michigan fan I don't have to defend the credibility of my program- it isnt in question. The very fact that this conversation is happening speaks to the character of ohio's program.
I bet I know who the bum is that negged this.
The fact you people try to justify the sanctions just speaks volumes. Take it and move on like we did with the Ed Martin scandal.
You can look up who negged it.
As a Buckeye fan, this made me even smile a little. This kinda stuff is harmless and is great for THE rivalry.
