Edit: Another link that discusses other potential Scout 300 recruits from the Midwest including, Wyatt Shallman, Steve Elmer, and Dymonte Thomas.

Twins!
August 30th, 2011 at 12:05 PM ^
Well good, at least now we know we're getting a good QB.
August 30th, 2011 at 2:02 PM ^
The point you're getting at is reasonable (that rankings don't mean everything), but this actually should make you more confident that we're getting a stud QB. Maybe you're great at evaluating film - I'm not - but otherwise, we've had to trust that his "looks great" praise wasn't being shared by 100 other 2013 QBs around the country. This shows that one of the heavyweight recruiting services believes that he's probably one of the best few prospects in the country. That's a big deal.

Think this is the most excited I have been in a while for a recruit coming into Michigan. The crazy thing is he still has another year of HS to get better before he even steps foot on the field for Michigan.
August 30th, 2011 at 12:07 PM ^
2 years*. Shane is a 2013 kid, making him even more impressive.
August 30th, 2011 at 12:09 PM ^
Sorry that is what I meant.
August 30th, 2011 at 12:05 PM ^
This should help in recruiting.

Thank you, MGoBloggers for your vigilance on our behalf.
Now, conventional blogiquette might demand that I ignore the second post, but I will go against the norm simply because I also hope to be like dang this season!
August 30th, 2011 at 12:10 PM ^
Well deserved. Very well could be the best QB in that class.
August 30th, 2011 at 12:14 PM ^
Thank God Left handed people are not burned at the stakes anymore for being witches/warlocks or we would be fucked for 2013.
August 30th, 2011 at 12:19 PM ^
They're not?!? Well what am I going do for fun now?

They're not?!? Well what am I going do for fun now?
You could always pull the trigger on that kitten in your avatar: sorta like the old National Lampoon "Buy this magazine or we'll shoot this dog" cover.

The other day, I killed a left-handed drifter just to get an erection
August 30th, 2011 at 12:32 PM ^
I just hope you didn't give yourself The Stranger and then commit suicide. I guess at that point, you probably wouldn't have been able to post this, so there is a very slim chance that it happened.
August 30th, 2011 at 9:30 PM ^
When I was a young man I broke a couple of fingers on my right hand and yadda, yadda, yadda, I'm left handed when I "do" a couple of things. (like play a guitar you perverts)

being left handed i agree
August 30th, 2011 at 1:43 PM ^
So true - or else I'd be hiding out in some dark cave...
August 30th, 2011 at 12:13 PM ^
I can't help but be happy for Jalin Marshal. Middletown (typical rust belt town) doesn't get a lot of good news.
August 30th, 2011 at 12:22 PM ^
Would be happier for him, if he wasn't a tOSU lean.
August 30th, 2011 at 12:20 PM ^
Sugar Shane = God
August 30th, 2011 at 12:23 PM ^
If he doesn't win us 7 national championships he is a bum. A fucking BUM!
August 30th, 2011 at 1:45 PM ^
Has not even hit campus yet and you already have him as head coach someday..... Nice!
August 30th, 2011 at 11:04 PM ^
He's just gonna throw a pass so hard that it warps space time and takes him two years into the past.
August 30th, 2011 at 1:09 PM ^
I thought I was the only one calling him Sugar Shane Morris in my head.
August 30th, 2011 at 5:00 PM ^
You are the only one calling him Sugar Shane Morris in your head. I hope.
August 30th, 2011 at 11:00 PM ^
The ESPN folks were calling him "Sugar" Shane Morris during that 7-on-7 tourney down in Florida earlier this summer (Gridiron Kings, or something like that?)
August 30th, 2011 at 12:25 PM ^
Now for 2-3 top flight recievers!!
August 30th, 2011 at 12:35 PM ^
I heard from an "Insider" Morris was so good they were either going to give him a 6th star.
A different source had him leaving school after his Junior year because Hoke promised him he would start over Denard next year.
I think I'm losing my credibility on this thread, but I do think this might be true. I heard he was held back a couple years ago so he could develop physically and dominate. It doesn't effect much, but it could lower his ceiling just a bit if he is as old as the current seniors in high school.

Is there a 2013 LB from Ohio (Cardinal Mooney HS) named...
COURTNEY LOVE?!
We have to get him.
August 30th, 2011 at 1:11 PM ^
There is also a DE from Ohio named Taco Charlton.
August 30th, 2011 at 11:05 PM ^
Is terrified.
August 30th, 2011 at 1:49 PM ^
Another year of Denard, 5* Gardner, then 5* Morris
August 30th, 2011 at 1:58 PM ^
I hope Shane is already trying to work his magic with Tyner, the RB from Oregon. That would be quite the fantastic start to the 2013 class.
August 30th, 2011 at 2:03 PM ^
And the DGBs of the 2013 class. I don't know who or where the top receivers in that class are.
August 30th, 2011 at 2:57 PM ^
Yes that kid is a beast! Getting Josh Garnett or Zach Banner would help him with Tyner also.
August 30th, 2011 at 2:40 PM ^
Nice. 5 star qbs usually do not disappoint.
August 30th, 2011 at 3:04 PM ^
in Southbend.
August 30th, 2011 at 3:15 PM ^
So Ron Powles didn't win 4 Heisman's?
August 30th, 2011 at 4:10 PM ^

There are some pretty good players in that group.
August 30th, 2011 at 4:57 PM ^
I'm amazed at how many had mediocre careers or were flat out busts. Wow.
August 30th, 2011 at 8:04 PM ^
I don't know, that's a pretty good hit rate.
August 30th, 2011 at 2:58 PM ^
Should almost guarantee a stellar WR recruiting haul next year.
August 30th, 2011 at 9:02 PM ^
Skill players can play really soon, so an established starter, such as DG will be throwing to them their first 2 years (hopefully)
