Gridiron Kings is a 7v7 tournament, teams comprised of the best prospects from each region compete each round to win the championship.

It's held July 28-29th.

Some nice tidbits:

- Shane Morris is the first two-time participant (he led his team to runner-up last year) of all time

- Will be leading the midwest team for the second year in a row (he upset the Southeast team last year... suck on that SEC).

Imagine double the Shanes on the recruiting trail. Imagine backfield sets with two Shane Morrises. Defense wouldn't know who was getting the ball. While Shane could be throwing to Shane, Shane could be selling Michigan to the recruits visiting the game. The possibilities are endless.

Isn't he supposed to be competing in an event in Columbus coming up soon? I believe its something to do with the elite 11.

I believe that was a regional try out down in Dallas. He didn't get in on that one so he's competing to get in on this one.
