Shane Callahan to Auburn

Submitted by jerseyblue on

He was one of the I'd say 7 OT's we were looking hardest at. This leaves Banner, Magnuson, Diamond, Dodson, Thurston and Keenan. Obviously others could jump in the picture. But yeah, Auburn.

Jonah Pirsig. He's not highly touted, but he's from nowhere so he hasn't played 7 on 7 or been to 500 combines since his freshman season. He's been building offers since April now and looks better every time you see him.

Wasn't Auburn one of our leading rivals for Diamond?   I know that we're considered to be one of the favorites for him and I imagine this can only help us there.

I consider Pirsig to be very well known. I didn't mention him because Tom doesn't bring him up much. Same situation with Peat. we offered but the talk slows down after that.

the spring commitment fervor it feels like things have slowed way down but I imagine there are a few others we've offered who haven't begun narrowing down yet. They get offered from all over and only get 5 (i think) officials. Some fans are going bananas over our class being full any day now, but I think we'll get a few others to visit after August comes around.
