A Shameless Plug - My Pics from the Game
In case anyone cares, here are my shots from the game (and other things) from yesterday.
The Pre-game shots, wandering around the stadium through the coin toss:

Messing around with photoshop to get an effect like they are those little electric football players:

And a shot of the F-15's that were flying around briefly before the game:

That panoramic shot of the stadium is sweet.

The two you photoshopped are interesting. I like them.

I saw that on a photography forum I go on. Since yesterday was cool and I had my jacket on, I decided to take my 28-135 and 75-300mm lenses instead of my usual 175-500mm lens. That gave me a chance to do that.

those are sweet

I very much like those shots. They remind me of a trick I've seen in a couple of movies - most recently the regatta scene in The Social Network - where they oversaturate parts of the picture and fuzz out the peripheral elements. And yes, I just made up the usage of about 1/2 those words.

I wonder what F-15's were doing around the stadium if there wasn't a flyover?

I wondered that too in a OMG...WTF is going on sort of way.

Just flying around and being a badass. There's no mistaking the sound of an F15 when it hits the afterburner.

The mystery has been solved. They were doing a flyover of East Lansing (sadly they weren't armed...but that's another matter). So I'm guessing that the pilots wanted to see a cooler stadium so they flew over Michigan.

I always cry/shiver when I see someone do this

My shiver moment is when I hear the M-Fanfare....

That's the first stretch I do every morning when I get out of bed.

Enjoy arthritis.

Surely you didn't over look the most important shot of the game? Please tell us you have a picture of him!

I'm pretty sure he's in the panoramic shot somewhere.

The tilt-shift ones are fantastic.

for sharing those. Photography is one of those talents that require technical expertise as well as artistic talent. I always appreciate it when someone shares their efforts.
We should see if we can have the snipers tasked with locating Lloyd Brady. They have the optics and they are looking around anyway!

IF I had had my other lens, I probably could have gotten a shot of Lloyd but I'm not sure since I was at the wrong angle for him, I think.

Awesome pictures. They bring back some good memories of the game I attended earlier this season.
