SG Brevin Pritzl to Wisconsin

Submitted by Erik_in_Dayton on

The sweet-shooting 6'3" two guard chose to take Wisconsin up on its offer of a 2015 scholarship.  He recently made an unofficial visit Michigan but apparently did not receive an offer.  He'll probably be a nice player at some point, but the Michigan coaches seemed to see him as a back-up plan to Eron Harris (who, per Raoul's post below, is visiting Michigan June 6-7) and Jalen Coleman.

Now he can start working on sliding under jump shooters, grabbing opposing players, flopping, and whining like a stuck pig anytime a call goes against him.  Because that's the Badger Way.*

*I wish the kid luck, but it's important to criticize Wisconsin basketball whenever you can.

Alternatively titled, In the least surprising decision ever....

Glad he made a decision that makes him happy, even if I will now irrationally get angry every time he makes a shot.

If I drink vodka and eat a pretzel will you be able to smell it on my breath?

As the Buckys article mentions, it was a decent list of mid-major offers indeed - Creighton, Davidson, Drake, Marquette, ND State, Northern Illinois, Toledo, South Dakota State, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Wisconsin-Milwaukee and Xavier. There are some good ones on the list, to be sure. If I am reading 247 right, Indiana and North Carolina showed some interest but made no offers - didn't see that he even visited those two.

Indy Star has an Eron Harris update; he's visiting Michigan June 6–7, after visiting MSU this Saturday. He's also considering Purdue, a school he already visited.
