Not a commit, but before he got his offer, he admitted that he planned to commit the moment a scholarship was offered.

"But as I grew up and matured, I've seen that maybe Ohio State is not the best move for me." --Se'Von Pittman
Ohio State: Not for mature people!
Can we get this quote copied and pasted on the Internet? Like the entire Internet? All of Internet? Who do we see about this?

of the Internet is who you see, of course.

Where is Ted Stevens when you need him?
its code for:
"As I've grown up and been reading lot sof blots, tweets and the general press, I've come to learn that OSU has been a stinkpit of cheating for a decade, so by the time I get there, Tress won't be there, the program will be down 15 scholies a year, a 3-year bowl ban, no TV, a Death Penalty-killed basketball team, and they won't even have free girls to entertain me anymore. Oh, and I'd have to pay FULL PRICE for my cars and apartment."
This guy is screaming to wear that BADASS MICHIGAN HELMET! Best helmet ever might i add! Too much bad news coming from OSU. Strating to show that recruits are looking elsewhere.
'Try growing up in Texas a Michigan WOLVERINE'.
That's a hell of a thing to say.
It's not like he said something like I'm interested in broading my horizons, or intereted in finding new oppurtunities.
He said about tO$U what you say about your friend in high school who smokes weed all the time after you've decided to get your GPA up so you can get into college.
Yikes.
Nice.
If mr Pitmann is losing love for Tatoo U can this be the beginning of the end

I thought the same thing at the start of the recruiting cycle. I thought that McMullen and Pittman were virtual locks, but it seems like they might be more open than we previosuly thought. In the end I think Pittman ends up at osu, but not sure about McMullen.

Tim's recruiting update indicated that although we made his top group, he has one school at the top, which I assume is Ohio since the link takes one to Bucknuts. Probably tough to pull him unless Ohio really gets hit by sanctions. Plus Alabama and Auburn are two tough schools to recruit against.

Fanatic since 1978. Internet tough guy since 2012.
He'd be our 3rd WDE at this point, but at 6'5" 245 right now, he's one of the bigger WDE recruits out there. He has the athleticism to play that spot, but he has the ability to grow into a SDE no problem. Also, Pharaoh Brown has the frame to grow into a SDE as well, and Ojemudia might be a linebacker. The problem might sort itself out, but even if it doesn't, Pittman is awesome so you take him.
ESPN needs to take "rumors" out of their URLs. It makes me not want to trust the information provided in the link.

... Sounds like something he would have picked up talking to Hoke and company.
Do Something. If it works, do more of it. If it doesn't, do something else.
huh. Alabama, Auburn, Michigan, MSU, and Ohio State. One of these schools is not like the others, one of these schools doesn't belong
... because recruiting in Ohio isn't really "national recruiting"
It feels good to be in the top 5 with such schools again. This is where we belong now I can't wait to watch some Michigan Football this fall. Go Blue
Hail Yes
The only bad part about this and the USC limitations is going to be that we aren't going to have enough room for all the talent flowing into A2.
We've got to beat OSU head-to-head for a couple of big-time recruits. That's the next non-football field step.
I can't wait until we are beating them on the field so that we don't need the threat of sanctions to help us in recruiting.
Sorry, I meant Ohio kids. We haven't stolen a top OSU recruit from Ohio yet. My fault.
I don't see how you could insinuate that you've matured above Ohio State and then ever end up committing to go there. Makes you look foolish. Of course I don't know why you'd ever go there in the first place when Michigan exists.

I don't want to seem too pessimistic, but I read his quote as being more that he's matured and become more comfortable in the recruiting process and won't just commit to OSU in a swoon. Instead he's going to take a level-headed approach and consider his options, etc.
wasnt he a soft verbal commit to OSU once?
wow. highly touted recruits are starting to become men now! so mature!
