I did not make this headline up
But they got nude beaches...
I always thought Big Blue was IBM...
and plus, he didn't go there to "play school"
Maybe the attitude issue is being caused by a lack of playing time and frustation?
If you're frustrated due to lack of playing time as a freshman, your main problem is probably your attitude. That's usually signs that the kid has feelings of entitlement.
He shouldn't have realistically been expecting a ton of playing time. I mean, it's not like their D-line was comprised entirely of freshmen and walk-ons.
Perhaps he was fed up with constantly having to use a cooler instead of modern plumbing fixtures.
It could be that, or maybe the whole Ohio test of manhood with turtles snapping at your pecker was too much for him.
Some guys are just soft.
Isn't he from the area? I sort of kind of remember them on his list with MSU, OSU, PSU and Michigan.
I'd love to see him playing at Cincy for Tommy Tubbs. Plus the Buckeye Butthurt(TM) if he had success would be tremendous.
He went to Canton McKinley HS...
If I'm MSU, I'd be more pissed than anything. Kid was committed, then jumped at the OSU offer once Meyer came on, and then asked to leave. I'm guessing he'll get a call from Dantonio, though. I feel like UM won't touch him.
...unless he is willing to pay his own way, correct? Assuming that's true, I'd be surprised if he stayed within the B1G. Maybe Cincinnati or Pitt for proximity reasons?
I would not be surprised to see them start shedding running backs. Hyde, Rod Smith, Brionte Dunn, Warren Ball, and Ezekiel Elliot are all 4/5 star guys now in a offense where the RB is splitting his carries with the QB and the hybrid "Percy Harvin" position. B1G rules probably mean we are unlikely candidates, though. Unless one of them has a family who can pay their way.
Hmm, wonder where their 2012 class would rank with him removed. Irrelevant now, but still interesting. I remember Ohio fans kept raving about having a higher ranked class, even though the amount of separation was negligible.
On Rivals.com, Ohio's 2012 class was worth 2,382 points. Pittman had a 5.9 rating and was the #95 overall player, good for 154 total points. Thus, deducting Pittman from that class would leave OSU with 2,228 points. Michigan's 2012 class was scored at 2,132. So Ohio would still come out slightly ahead.
I'd still rather have our class though.
Best of luck to him and tsiO still sucks!
and Golf every semester as they promised.
still has a few spots!
Brady Hoke exudes loyalty, and values it in everyone around him. Pittman is in danger of becoming football's Alex Legion. I don't think Hoke would let Pittman walk on at this point.
But I like to think that Meyer signed him just to keep a kid from Ohio going to a rival school knowing he'd just cut him later.
