Rittenberg seemed to sort of call out OSU's uncanny knack of having players "get right" with the team in time for key games. Small could be a significant loss.
Slight tangent: Small is the third leading receiver with 15 receptions. Michigan had 5 with 16 or more and 10 with 10 or more receptions. I was kind of surprised we threw that much. Granted there were quite a few games we were playing from behind.

Man, that dude has problems. I was watching College Football Live and Robert Smith had some pretty harsh words for him...along the lines of "He's been a problem since day one, he needs to hire himself a babysitter." Zing!

that perhaps we threw to more people and the vest shut it down early a lot. Pryors lack of accuracy probably did not help....

Between Tressel's ultra-conservative approach to football and Pryor's penchant for arm-punts, I suppose this is not all that surprising. Still, 15 receptions from your 3rd leading receiver seems low
