You offer opinions with no accountability to results.  If I had been through all he's been through, I would enjoy that situation as well.

What I don't understand is who has time to track these programs just to gain the information that WVU is suing to get out of their contract since the Big East said, "please abide by your contract".  Seems much easier to read about it on the internet.

I mean it's kind of a funny delivery of the facts, but did it really make it better?  I'm not saying that I wouldn't take the easy money, I'm just saying, who is watching this on TV in the day of Internet and DVRs?

Then again, I can't believe so many people tune into radio shows anymore either.  They have been devoid of facts for years now.

This will be a backhanded compliment to RR's show, but the one time I watched it (I was cleaning my apartment and wanted something in the background) I liked it much better than anything I've seen on ESPN, with the exception of Gameday on, well...game day.

A lot of that probably has to do with knowing that RR coached here and how closely I've followed him the past three years, but I don't think that's all of it.

I watched a few minutes of the Purdue-Rice game earlier this year and RR was pretty awful as a color commentator - came across very awkward and uncomfortable (although, to be fair, he was very inexperienced at that time).  Nice to see him get a little more comfortable in front of the camera, albeit in a different setting.

They're basically discussing how WVU is trying to sue their way out of their contract to stay in the Big East and RR jokes around about how he thought there was a coach about 3.5 years ago that wanted out of a contract at WVU and they said "too bad, a contract's a contract" but apparently the landscape has now changed for WVU to change their opinion on contracts.  He then futher joked about how he is very familiar with lawyers and can give some advice in this situation.

...but it bears repeating:  funny how the school that psycho-exed* RR for leaving them is now saying it's "srtictly business" when they leave the Big East under parallel circumstances.  Where is all of this "loyalty" they "value" so much?

* "Psycho-ex" makes a decent verb.

Question: what fraction of WVU fans do not get what is funny about this video? And not that they get it but just don't think it's funny, but rather they don't get why the TV men are laughing.

In West Virginia's defense, there is a different president and AD in place than when RR left. I'm sure if James Clements and Oliver Luck were in charge when RR decided to leave, there wouldn't have been as much crap going on. Although they probably would have fulfilled some of RR's wishes and he may have never left Morgantown. But still a funny video.

RR sounds a lot like "the old ball coach" or Bobby Bowden in that clip... hope he ends up at a school down south where he can recruit well and use that good ol boy ness to good effect.
