1. I agree with Geaux Blue on this.
2. No one recruit is going to make or break the University of Michigan
3. When you run a clean program, you are going to lose kids for "no reason" sometimes. It's just how things work.

If you were up all night looking for gifs for the day a bunch of high school kids choose a school, it might be advisable to evaluate your life.

I find it funny that you choose to join the site today on signing day of all days then tell us all 9 times (congrats on that by the way) to evaluate our lifes because we follow recruiting closely.

I don't have the ability to upvote or downvote. The reason I posted so many times was because of some error message.
I'm not making fun of anyone who follows recruiting, but if it's causing anyone to stay up all night, it might be wise to temper the level of unnecessary fanaticism.

Ok, ok we get it Steve. Now get back to throwing picks.

lighten up. Tryin to have a laugh. Second of all, I said nothing of the merits of any other recruits. Third, I don't have a life. And finally, what'd you say Mr. Threet? I didn't catch that...

Man, I wonder who negged every one of your posts?

Not sad - just moving on...

You're having a great first day, Steven.

Considering that this account appeared some 16 hours after a previous account using another Michigan QBs name was caved, I am going to wager that this is not his first day....on MGoBlog anyway. He is off to what might be a typical start though - we can only see how this develops, eh?

Chad Henne, Steven Threet, it doesn't matter—he'll be back like a bad case of crabs.
February 4th, 2015 at 12:36 PM ^
Now maybe he can Rick Roll the MGoCommunity to take their minds off recruiting. That went over so well for me!

or anyone else that spurned Michigan should be deleted post haste.
They're dead to me now.

On a day where it's hard to access the board to begin with, we don't need something like this taking up space.
February 4th, 2015 at 11:59 AM ^
Admittedly, I didn't quite think that one all the way through... oooops.

We currently don't have one single Harbaugh TE in this class. It's not just losing out on Clark.
If we're going to take 3*'s and put them in the NFL, I'm thinking it's going to be with a Harbaugh 3*. I'm thinking he's looking for specifics for his system and he has an eye for talent. I'm going to assume Jake Butt meets that eye, but I can't assume that about anyone else. Maybe Shallman?
I'm not saying it can't be done...I'm just saying, I'd have more confidence it can be done if it was a roster full of Harbaugh players.
February 4th, 2015 at 1:10 PM ^
Hypothetically, is it possible, dare I even say it, he becomes Toby Gerhart, Mach 2?
EDIT: I mean, Harbaugh, right?
February 4th, 2015 at 11:57 AM ^
I'll admit it, while I will love this class and anyone who CHOOSES Michigan. These two hurt. Clark is a position of need and a position that is showcased under Harbaugh. #1 TE in the country and a former commit.
Weber is an in-state, best player in the state, former commit. Also a position of need, not this year, but down the road since we have a million juniors.
No Marshall, Arnette, Williamson was easy. But these are two guys that I absolutely wanted to see in this class so this stings.
Too soon to laugh and joke about it.
I'm bummed, but I'll check back in this afternoon and get over and it root hard, appreciate, etc. those young men who DID select Michigan. Couldn't be happier in their decisions and I'll be excited to see them in the maize and blue.
February 4th, 2015 at 12:04 PM ^
We did land one Jim Harbaugh, and I believe that he will bring out the absolute best in not only those players he lands today, but the ones that are already here. Admittedly, I too am a bit bummed out; but, better days are coming. That's the first time we've been able to say that with some confidence in a loooooooong time.

Steven Threet still trying to complete something?
A thought? An opinion? Certainly not a pass.
February 4th, 2015 at 12:00 PM ^
UCLA is killing it today. Clark, Soso Jamobo, and Roquan, with Snoop Jr. and Iman still on their board. What's going on in Westwood?
