Semi-OT: DB Albert Louis-Jean Decommits from Miami

Submitted by BKFinest on

As per Rivals. However, seems as if Penn State is leading for him. So much for snagging one of the Miami decommits post-Shannon.

"Penn State clearly team to beat for Louis-Jean now followed by BC. Dark horse? Oregon. Watch for the Ducks." -- Mike Farrell, Rivals

Louis-Jean i'm surprised LSU is not the automatic commit.  I feel like the french connection to the Bayou should be a determining factor.  Anyone think RichRod would change his name to Richard Rod-Francois to get him up here?

Until we clarify our coaching situation we risk taking advantage of these opportunities. The price DB agreed to pay when he decided to stick with the "I will wait until after the bowl game to evaluate".

Um, not only are we not able to take advantage of these opportunities right now, but we are at the top of the list when it comes to programs facing uncertainty.

Unfortunately the fact is that recruits love coaching stability (i.e., knowing the coach will be there in 1, 2 years) and right now we don't offer much of that.

So I'm not exactly getting my hopes up for a huge recruiting haul.
