Semi-OT: character

Submitted by mi93 on

I'm not sure if anyone else is watching The Journey on BTN, but there's a short story on Darius and a relationship with a friend back home (Dan Tan) who was stricken with an awful disease.  I hadn't heard this one before, so sorry if it's redundant.  Darius continued to stay close and the friend geared up for every Michigan game.  During the interview Darius got choked up and all I could think about was the character of some of the young people in maize and blue as he talked about how he learned more about perserverance and humility than from any other person.

We spend a lot of time on this board talking about missed free throws, turnovers and muffed punts, but I've gotten more chills this past year watching Mealer walk, Denard kneel, players visit Mott, etc.

Few things make me as proud to be Wolverine.  Anyone else got any Great Blue moments?

The story of how Charles Woodson became the third title sponsor of the Griese/Hutchinson Mott weekend made him my all-time favorite Wolverine.
