Semi-OT: Chait Launches Blog

Jonathan Chait--alum, New Republic editor, at least one time Mgoblog contributor, and occasional Free-Press thrasher--has just started a blog. http://www.tnr.com/blog/jonathan-chait/so-i-decided-write-blog If you follow national politics and policy debates (and esp. if you lean leftward) it may be up your alley. He also states that the blog "may include some diversions into my personal obsessions, like college football, Arrested Development, and The Big Lebowski, but these will be kept mercifully brief." Here's hoping it does, often, and that he breaks the brevity promise. I don't see how such a great mind would ever want to shortchange the Dude, the Bluths, or the Wolverines.
