Title says it, CBS is going back to Luther Vandross' version of One Shining Moment.
i find this extremely interesting
This is the worst comment I've ever read on this site.
Within the past week someone posted a thread saying Gus Johnson = Pam Ward.
And then in the comment section he talked about how much he liked Jim Nance.
There is no time, sir, at which ties do not matter.
Luther Vandross didn't do anything that "sucks". Even putting "One Shining Moment" on will get you at least a back-rub from the Mrs. and/or random strange at the Applebee's bar.
It is spelled HOKEAMANIA. Our coach is an ass-kicking American citizen, not one of the Beatles, for Christ's sake!
The other version was complete crap !!!!!!
I've never watched "Rudy" because I can't stand notre dame.

Wasn't there an unverified voracity that linked to a criticism of "One Shining Moment?"
But it was NOT the Luther Vandross recording.
By the guy who wrote it, from (State of) Michigan, was the best.
But yes, last Year's was an abortion.
"I love him, he's a great coach, he's a great mentor, he's a great friend. He's every single thing you want a college coach to be, and he does it flawlessly." -David Molk
Good. The Jennifer Hudson version was terrible. The fact that Luther is great and the recording is older (adding to the cheese factor of a rather cheesy song) makes it work.

What a year this one was...I hope to be watching this next April on a cool Monday evening after Johnny B takes us through the Big Dance unblemished!! GO BLUE!!! SMOTZ!!!!!!!
"And to think a guy by the name of Louis Elbel would write The Victors on a train coming back from Chicago in 1898...It's amazing!!" -Jim Brandstatter
Thank goodness...
As long as they show the Stu Douglass two hand flush on the break, I don't give a shit if Roseanne Barr is singing it.
"I don't see how having someone piss on my face is going to help me sell Lou Ferrigno's house."
Nothing against Jennifer Hudson's version... but hers doesn't compare to Luther Vandross'.
Rest In Peace LV!!!!!!
OH YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!! Dun Dun Dun!!!!!!
One Shining Moment sucks.
