Self Mutilation??
Why do fans continually subject themselves to Sharp, Valenti, Foster, Mandel, Wilbon etc.?? I have been on a media black out for 3 weeks. I go to MGOBLOG and listen to the Recruiting Roundup on a podcast for my Mich news. Why do you need anything else?? Everyone wants to bring us down. We are the Yankees, we are the Cowboys. I want to jump thru the screen when I hear about some idiot pile on with no info. So why do people keep listening to this stuff and posting it here to say how stupid these people are?? We can't change their opinion, most don't even care they just do a drive by on us and they are on to the next idiotic opinion. Circle the Wagons people. If you spend your days looking for Mich articles, my question to you is after the last 3 weeks why?? We know the reasons, we have logical explanations, we understand why. Why do you feel the need to listen to people that don't know and hate us?

Why folks feel compelled to witness the train wreck.....
This is new for us. It's been a long time (Moellergate?) since there was this much dust kicked up.....
Just as in most cases, winning solves a lot of problems....

The reason why it is like this is because we are the most recognizible football team in America. When something happens here (big or small) it gets heard. Its the price to pay for being a power.

I feel compelled to read and listen to everything Michigan.
Part of being well-informed is knowing and when necessary, refuting opposing and in many cases uninformed views. If we don't keep shooting down the myths perpetuated by the MSM they will go largely unchecked.
Yes, I may be giving too much credit to we, the blog posters, but our voices spreading the gospel are better than no voices.
