Selection Sunday to be 1.5 hours
After that debacle last year which was 2 hours and where we were saved by "Sarcastic Prick" on twitter who leaked the bracket, they've cut the show time down............
to 90 minutes. 30 minutes too long. I hope they don't pussfoot around again.

You mistyped a bracket released on their website.
I upvoted all above comments for the chukkulz, but yeah - actually the selection show is kind of fun, and this is coming from someone who hates almost all sports jabbering. An hour show, with ads, gives them about 30 seconds per team plus a couple minutes for a quick storyline. 15 minutes dedicated to each region. I like it. The two hours horseshit, I just taped it, went into the submarine, and then fast forwarded past all the gasbagging. 90 minutes is on the edge....I'll probably do the same again, but we'll see.
ESPN convinced its drooling audience of slobs to watch people play poker. Prostate exams (with "The General!" ads) aren't too far down the slippery slope.
For a GREAT LOW RATE you can get online,
LOOK AT MY BALLS, aren't they SO FINE!
Sounds like a page from Go Dog Go.
Can you literally go to dinner and a movie in 90 minutes ? I suppose if the movie is an animated for tv special of Sponge bob and the dinner is mcdonalds.
I was so happy when it was leaked last year. Saved two hours of my Sunday.
You all realize you can just wait until the show is over and you'll have the entire bracket, right?
I know, maybe I'm weird but I actually enjoy watching the selection show when we're a part of the bracket
Part of the fun of march madness is watching the little guys get in and see the live celebration, like when Michigan got in during the 2008-2009 season. Theres a bit of that magic whenever they reveal the names and matchups
Well, a small improvement from last year, I suppose.
Last year was a disaster - it does not take the opinions of 10,000 people for each pick to get a general understanding of why a team sits in a particular seed in the view of those who pretend to know. Just release the bracket and apologize appropriately to the bubble teams that now must contemplate their NIT invites.
Money and marketing
I'm budgeting two minutes for that task. I might go three if I need to pace myself.
Do people still watch these things?
Milk it for all it's worth until no one is ever able to stomach watching it again!
