Season Tickets- Have you received yours?

Submitted by NorthSideBlueFan on

I am growing increasingly impatient waiting for my tickets to arrive after I read all the posts last week. Now with my PS3/NCAA 11 freezing all the time I am extra cranky. So my question to the board and specifically fellow Chicago/Illinois residents is have you received your season tickets yet?

Thanks, I'll hang up and listen...

I haven't gotten mine yet, but everyone else in my seating group has. I emailed the ticket office today, hopefully they get back to me soon.

Edit: The ticket office just emailed me back (great time on the response btw) and apparently its getting mailed out this week. Hope that helps.

I am in Chicago and mine came a few days ago. I doubt they process tickets by mailing address, though, they probably do it by section in the stadium. Try to find out if others in your section have received theirs.

Also, just call and ask. I have done that in past years and they can confirm that they have your paperwork and you will not have to stress any more. The game is a month away.

I haven't received mine yet (Indianapolis). I'm gonna give it a few more days.  I even checked my bank statements to make sure I actually paid for tickets. Fortunately I have, so it shoud be a matter of time.

Last year I got mine three weeks after everyone else in my seating group did, so I wouldn't really worry about it for now. Mine were even mailed to my Ann Arbor address. Plus as long as you have your confirmation number and receipt you should be all set even if there are problems and they have to reprint them

and I was told I would receive them by "mid-August."

I am NOT all-in on the water policy. Dumb. I never had any problems waiting in line before, but the articles I've read mentioned new security procedures at the gates, which makes me wonder if full-cavity strip searches are in order. If they were only doing that for Buckeye fans, that would be most excellent.

I live in Ann Arbor and just got mine yesterday (and I'm not a current student or employee of the university - I'm in the same mailing pool as everyone else).  It seems to be very random.

Sometimes the AD screws up their list of registered students. This has happened to me before (last season). All I had to do is bring a copy of class schedule and they allowed me to pick it up.

since the announcement was made that the tickets were shipped.  I almost called the office until I saw this post.  I'll hold off a few days then panic.  Go Blue !!!

I got nervous about it once, a couple of years ago, and called the ticket office.  The young lady laughed and said don't worry.  Sure enough, they arrived later, no problems.

It could be that different parking passes/arrangements dictate different timing on mailing; but that's just a guess. If they mailed out 10,000 ticket package envelopes every day, that's still nearly two full work-weeks.

Those non-student season ticket holders who got theirs...did you get you Big Chill Tickets at the same time?

the one common theme here... The USPS. Inconsitencies from them as of late could certainly be contributing to the more sporadic delivery dates this year than in the past.

I'm still waiting for mine too in Milwaukee.

Not sure how the University breaks up the mailings but nothing else really makes too much sense as to a reason for the delays for some people.
