Both Parker and Knight seem like smart kids. I'm sure they'll make the right decision and commit to the Wolverines. I know there's been a lot of talk about Baxter, but I'd rather have both of these guys.

I might be wrong but I'm not worried about Parker and USC. He's been there before for unofficials, so it's not like he will be surprised by the facilities. Kiffin and his crew have only been there a few days so they can't be fully prepared to discuss depth charts and playing time. If Parker wasn't already sold on USC, I doubt that this visit will do it.

GERG obviously does have the ring, but no one should put him in the same d-coordinator class as Monte Kiffin. Monte Kiffin is acknowledged as one of the best coordinators ever in the NFL, as well as an innovator of that defense. I like GERG and support him, but one of those things is not like the other.

I've disagreed with you in the past about other things but this is right on the money. Monte Kiffin innovated/invented (however you want to term it) the "Tampa 2." As good as everyone says the Ravens D has been for the better part of this decade, the Bucs D was probably better before them. It was their offense that continually let them down pre-Super Bowl. Yes, I know Derrick Brooks had a lot to do with the Tampa 2 coming into existence.
